**Official ABIT IP-35 Pro Review/Overclock/Guide Thread**

got it working now, it was the intel chipset, the...

INTEL Chipset Driver v 8.3.1.1009 for 2000/XP/2003/64bit - 11th September 07

from the OP, its for all current vista versions, if someone could update its description i'm sure it would help someone
Hi there,

I've updated all the drivers listed to fully show which operating systems they are for, it was a good point. :)

Also I've listed a new version for:-

JMicron SATA Driver V 1.17.33 for 2000 / XP / XP 64bit / 2003 / 2003 64bit / Vista 32bit / Vista 64bit - 8th April 08 *NEW*

Can anyone with Crucial Ballistix tell me what volts they are giving it?

I have 4 x 1Gb and it was happy in my DS3 with 2.1v yet now some of it errors at that voltage in the IP35, I'm hoping the ram hasnt died, we all know Crucial is famous for it.
Have you tried increasing the North Bridge? MCH by 0.1v?

I'm gonna ask Nelly what Bios he was running, wonder if it was one previous to the Wolfdale's being released?
Hello, I've only just seen this & replied to your e-mail & yes I was using a Q6600 with this motherboard using an older bios.

I really wish I knew you had the E8400 as I would have flashed it to the latest bios, dont you know anyone with an E2140 or something similar??

nice to see the OP's initial first post has been updated..... ;) NOT.

Cmon please add some more stuff.. I'm pretty sure I said somewhere in the thread that the " Scythe Ninja Rev.B " fits the board fine.
Less of the rude attitude, be thankful I take the time to do this in the very first place - I DO update this thread on what I would say a regular basis usually every 2-4 weeks.

The problem I have is various forums have different rules for posting i.e. Maximum of 15,000 characters, I've already gone past that so I've had to edit others to keep the best suitable info.

Also on the Abit forums I have like so many weeks I can edit my post then it can only be done by moderators, it's damn annoying to the point I cant be bothered e-mailing mods to update it, I dont think I should have too.

Believe it or not it's a time consuming job especially having the above problems included, I do try & keep up with whats posted in the various threads I've made but dont expect me to do this 24/7 this isnt a job, be thankful someone has made an effort to make a better effort.

Other official threads you will see on forums, never get updated after a few weeks i.e. overclocking threads, Asus, MSI, Giagabye official threads etc.
I think Nelly has about half a dozen of these threads spread about the net. He can't be expected to keep track of them all.

And I think he sold his IP35-Pro a few weeks ago anyway.
Aye your correct, I will keep the original thread updated.

I wonder how many Abit motherboards I have sold by doing these threads in the first place.

As has been explained though we do have what we believe are valid reasons for that.
How hard is it to email or PM us with an update given that you are already doing it for elsewhere?
Just copy & paste?
Another problem on the Abit forums is the ability to send lengthy forum pm / mail, it cannot exceed 3000 characters if I remember correctly so if I've got more than one section to update I have to send individual e-mails kinda tedious.

Do you have a hotmail e-mail address or something similar? my e-mail is in trust on here, I could send you the full update of my threads on there to cut & paste.

Updates to the first thread, added the following:

Compatable Air Cooling List (NOTE: Doesnt take into consideration case sizes)

Here's a new BIOS compilation, this one with an updated JMicron JMB363 storage controller option ROM. Sorry for taking so long to update it.

Download the BIOS compilation

I highly suggest you do not use any BIOS older than 14, but I've included them if you absolutely need to run an older version for whatever reason. Flash at your own risk. I've personally tested 18ZZZ only. There's very little chance of failure for other versions, however. Worst thing that'll happen is some option ROM throws an error, in which case you flash back to a stock BIOS and post here so I can figure out why and possibly correct it (or put in an older working version of that option ROM instead).

If you do not require the PXE ROM to display its "press Shift+F10 to configure..." message twice after the Intel AHCI OROM's initialization message during boot up, go to the CMOS setup screen, then Integrated Peripherals, then Onboard PCI Device, and set - Invoke Boot Agent to Disabled for both Network Controller 1 and Network Controller 2.

If for some reason you require a beta BIOS version available from the lejabeach website updated, please send me a PM.
