*Official* Antec 1200 Case's,Builds,Modifications & FAQ's

Well got a 360 Rad into the top of my lovely new case :) took some serious metal working though, i dont know what this metal is but its extremly hard to cut hehe. Ill keep you up to date on the final case :)

Here you go :), Sorry i didnt reply sooner i was working on the top panel.

Excuse all the small metal shavings etc lol needs a major clean once modding is finished.

Got one of these today, changed over from my 900 as it was really cramp.

Great case, loads of space, (just) fitted the cables behind the motherboard, was a tight fit...

OK just finshed fixing all the top and front panels back together, had to trim away a small part of the top fan to enable it to slide back into place with ease. I have just filled her up with a loop between the pump and Rad, just to make sure the rad is 100% ok.

And then nearly going to be ready for the installation of the below :D. Only downside being the MOBO is going to have to be on for the Block testing (I mean by that the Block is already connected to the MOBO, i would prefer to do this with the block serperate).

Hehe :) abit Shaffaaf :).

Also yes i am using it as a push pull, please see the EXTREMLY poor diagram below for details lol.

This way i can ensure that air is pulled out instead of getting sucked back down into the case through the gaps either side of the Rad.

god i bet that cost a canny bit, also liked what you did with that small grill:) did you have any problems with that?
To be fair i think it looks better with a grill there also.

Well the hardest part of the small grille, was cutting it out as the plastic on the 1200 is very good and thick. It is really hard to get a straight cut on it, but i found the best way is just to grind out the middle and work outwards, then just get some mesh and bend to suit and be prepared to cut your hards a lot lol. :) i think personally it looks quite good with it and the more air that i can get out the top the better.

After using the case since Sunday, very impressed. Everything is super cool and the amount of space is fantastic. It makes the 900 look tiny.

Girlfriend's happy as she ended up with the 900 for her new PC.

Well the Rear and top ones can be turned off from a control box on the back, but infortunatly the rest are set to always on, but you can rip them out very very easily :)

Ill try and get some for your Thundy, i was up last night till 2 just trying to figure out how to get the pump/res in with the Thermaltake PSU because its so long lol. Got it in though, ill try and get it all back together tonight and get some pics
