I have a problem I posted earlier with the following spec (newly built) PC:
ASUS P5K-Deluxe
Conroe E6600
Crucial Ballistix 6400 2x1GB
BFG 8800GTX OC
Corsair 620HX PSU
After making ANY change from the stock settings in the BIOS, after exiting and saving, the PC switches off straight away, then powering up a few seconds later with a blank screen (fans are running, but no POST/beeps). Turning off the PC again and then turning it on, the PC turns on with the error message: "Overclocking Failed!" (nothing has been overclocked?!) and restores all options to default. Sometimes I cannot even get this and the PC boots up to a blank screen, no POST every time.
Removing ONE stick of RAM so only one is left alleviates this problem - basically I think it is to do with having a DDR set up but have no idea how to solve it. I think my BIOS is 0202 but I don't really want to be flashing it or trying to update it considering the relatively unstable state it is in (changing anything seems to stop the PC booting).
Any help?
