Has anyone noticed that you cant alter the fan speed of the second card with the latest 9.12 hotfix with crossfired 5770s?
1 of these with decent eye candy can be choking, 2 of these are amazing

also your second card will be running full speed in 2d mode as mine was, grab msi afterburner and it will tell you, going back to official 9.12's has fixed it

Not for me. But I can definitely say that the second card is not altering in speed since when I bump the speed up to max I then physically stop it and I cant hear the fan on the second card.
I may join you on the 9.12s actually. Presumably you had the hotfix on as well?
