I have my cards overclocked to a rather modest 930/1400 and the fans max out at around 57% which is way louder than an XBOX 360 which is too bloomin loud for a living area!

I think you have to agree that when a fan is too loud at 60% it is a bad thing for overclockers as you can't take advantage of the cooling without cutting your head off with noise induced stress.

Only time I hear the fans kick up is under furmark...... Normal use is a none issue really and temps never go over 75C.
 
well ive just given the new cod 15 mins and i can confirm the fan sound increases ever so slightly, 900/1300, im not sure how demanding cod is but with vantage and 06 the an speeds do ramp up quite a bit

its no way loud, if you wan loud stick a 4870 in there

also Alfie, I used to max my memory and core but after speaking to BigBruiserAI & Taken i went back down to 1300

Nice temps there mad V1 or V2 coolers?...i would assume then in summer time you may be hitting 75-80c on the top card have you tryed some vantage bench's im not a fan of 06 i must say.
Are they custom Afterburner fan profiles?
 
how do you tell which coolers they are? they are the VTX3D Shroud coolers (red & black) if its any help, fan profile is default ati one, just installed afterburner now so i can monitor the temps / fan speeds

I had to do a total restore last night due to the leaked 9.12 messing up the system, but will install vantage later today when the official 9.12s are out ;)
 
v1 are the full shroud and the v2 are the egg ones mate. Sill nice temp would like to see how hot they get in vantage though mine just hit 80c on a full vantive run at 1000/1300 :D

no worries, took me a few hours to work that one out lol

tried the usual, dx update, drivers etc... with no luck, though I was getting fantasticly high frame rates in dirt2... but it was running in dx9 mode :o

Is the 1050/1350 completely 24/7 usable and stable?

Also what is the highest you overclocked your card?
