Official Australian Grand Prix 2025 Thread - Albert Park Circuit, Melbourne - Race 1/24

The sky sports F1 channel schedule suggests the race is repeated again through Sunday at 7.45 / 10.45 / 1.55pm / 6pm / 9pm .

Does NowTv work the same way ?

It's the perfect time for my location. :D I'll be done in, in a few races time though.

I'm not sure what I'm hoping to see to be honest. I'd prefer none of them have made wild steps, and it's a mess with at least 6 drivers having a close shot at pole position and the win. Maybe even an Aston Martin breakthrough to have 7 in with a chance? *fingers crossed*
No chance with AM I think... This year is surely just a stop gap/info gather until next years regulation change and Newey being involved.

Aston looked dreadful in testing. Alonso is going to have a miserable year, I think. Newey is unlikely to be arriving soon enough to really change things for 2026 either; their hopes are reliant on Honda coming out a mile ahead in the engine race, and Newey delivering for 2027.

Oh well back to the grainy illegal streams for me
The F1TV HD streams are good value at £7/month + VPN sub.

On my Android device , install the app, enable US VPN and subscribe in the Play store.

The app used to be available on my Sony TV (Android) until early last year. Now I get a copy from one of the apk mirror sites and install.

It's not, it's ~£36/month. There was an offer recently though.

Edit - if you sub for 6 months there's an offer for £26/month at the moment but you have to pay extra for HD (£6) or UHD (£9).

I used to use NowTV before just getting full Sky and the quality of the stream was terrible, but that was 5 years ago. Felt like I was getting 720p@30fps. Wasn't worth the money but they would give you deals fairly often if you cancelled.

I know Sky is expensive but the UHD/HDR and 50FPS coverage along with the red button is a fairly good product

Ooh yeah! Saturday looks overcast but dry so Quali should be a strong indicator of each team's performance. Sunday is a coin flip whether it rains or not, so could throw things in to complete disarray, especially for all the rookies.
