OMG! I just remembered something awesome from the other night!
I managed to get two sniper kills in a row on heli pilots, each causing their copters to fly headlong into the ground! :D
You don't get a vehicle destruction score for it though :(

i agree with most of that. the an94 is my favourite weapon by far although i can still own ass with the aek 971 as long as your using magnum. i would also rate hk416 above the xm8 but they are both very similar. the xm8 has superior iron sights though.

Yeah those are just the guns I've gravitated towards. Just started using the m416 last night and that's awesome.
 
Well had a complete rubbish night - I jumped into a game as usual using quick match. After 1 level it seemed that a clan had a squad in game and basically they raped our team for over 1 hour. Any level with a helicopter they just basically took over the flag spots and then camped our base in the heli and nicked ours. I was the only one trying to take down the heli's.

It really is silly hard to rank up on this game! I played as recon yesterday - got a double kill by planting some c4 on a tank,did some spotting,got some headshots. 600 ex points.Great!Only need another 6000 or so:rolleyes:

I quite enjoy it like that though, encourages me to actually play the game types, although I only really play Conquest...so I actually capture stuff :p

I disagree with you,

I usually get over 10 000 points each game, 2-4000 combat score, the rest in pins and insignias..


Record is 30 000... in 1 match..

Yea I noticed that, theres no spread on it.
Shotgun is probably the best weapon in the game for anyone not hyperactive, especially the double shotgun was what I used all the time in the first one when playing on console even if I was slow I only had to hit him once

I was wondering why I was getting shot from no-where by a SAIGA :p
 
I had one of those epic fail moments earlier. We were playing defence and the opposition flew over in a blackhawk and bailed out over the MCOM base leaving the helicopter to fall to the ground. I decided to jump in however it had come to rest on a destroyed house and was leaning backwards, I tried to take off but it just started to flip over backwards so I quickly bailed out. The helicopter then crashed into the house with the MCOM box inside causing it to collapse killing 2 teamates and destroying the MCOM as well!! Ooops! :o

Luckily I bailed before the crash as the two team kills were recorded as suicides and I didn't lose any points, lol :D
 
the camping is getting out of control on this, if its a heli then people dont stand a chance, if its a tank thats in the base camping people seem to run around like headless chickens :( its just no fun at the moment and rush is annoying me now as soon as i spawn on drop down from a chute i get killed :mad:
 
On regular servers camping doesnt seem too bad, but on HC I agree, there is far too much incentive to sit behind something and shoot at whatever comes past, or just snipe.

Still, for every tactic in this game there's a solid counter. It's just that they mostly require team play.

It's very difficult now at low ranks though.
 
One thing that's starting to annoy me it the map design. Most of them are incredibly linear with the same style of choke points over and over. (rush mode)
