*** Official Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Thread ***

Any people that play this on the 360,can you add me as a friend please? GT is in my sig.
Very few of my friends play this as they all play MW2,so I always end up playing on my own which is a bit boring really.Even when i've joined a squad i've only ever joined one random squad where people actually talk to each and help each other out.

I play mainly as medic or engineer. I will keep you alive/repaired! Often I dont even travel in the tank, just follow It. This allows me to keep a good eye on where attacks are coming from and keep you up and running.

I can't explain it but it reminds me of battlefield vietnam on the pc all those years ago running in 640 x 480 res.
Everything just looks rough with blocky shadowing, low texture detail and no aa. Even the missus made a comment which is unusual. Compared to the beta stages it's taken a giant leap backwards.
Anyway thats my only major gripe so far and it's a good blast.

I think that is the price you pay for being able to destroy pretty much everything.

Graphics wise my only gripe is the trees, they look rubbish especially when blasted down in your path for a few seconds then *poof* they disappear.
 
i dont get the graphics complaints. looks about as good as any other FPS on the consoles. and if you think it looks like bf vietnam then you need to go back and check what vietnam looked like...

It is bugging me because the beta looked perfect!

We need to get regular squad startup times on, so we can start a night as a squad rather than trickle on and then off, when it's just one or two people it's really tiresome dealing with M60 campers and M95's with 12x scopes and enhanced mortar strikes at the same time as trying to get the objectives done.
 
Picked this up yesterday...traded in Metro 2033 so thought id give this a go and have to admit its pretty decent for an FPS...quite enjoyable.
 
I'm getting fed of with this game now.Played yet another game last night where all my team left so I was stuck in a game with 5 players on the other team:mad:
Do you lose your points if you quit a game?
 
Just watched a gameplay demo of this game, what is with the giant backpack drops when you kill someone? It looks so ridiculous its laughable.

Surely they could have made these drops a little smaller. Its like shooting a pop tart every time. Totally ruins the look of the game in my opinion.

You're probably looking at the original Bad Company where you dropped a kit bag rather than a gun.

Your laughter at the wrong game is so ridiculous it's laughable. In fact, I think a lol is necessary to prove my point. lol.

I am glad it doesnt as I was thinking about getting it but that really put me off. Maybe it was a beta or something. Definately did say it was BC2 on the title and I looked through different ones and all did the same.

Just looked at my internet history and I admit I was wrong. It was titled BC2 but in the comments it said it was BC1.

I know the multiplayer demo ended but is there a single player demo for it on ps3 that I could try?
