Seems the chopper pilots are going to have flying made harder

Seems the kit change pack has been taken down for a lot of people due to a price mix up

Dice are nerfing the sniper rifles in hardcore so there's no more one hit kills on the body.

Oops! Got both thread subscribed didn't check which thread I was in.

Basically the PC choppers handle like pregnant tanks compared to thier console counter-parts, maybe these AA changes are to stop choppers from becoming overpowering.

How are the choppers on the console when playing as infantry?

On that huge open sand one they can be very dominating.....especially when the other team have 2 . And with the slow ticket bleed the ground game can seem a little futile.

A lot of people circle strafe them now, if they do it on your base you can get under the edge of their circle and take them down quite easy with well place rockets.....some times it just doesnt happen though.

They have yet to go through cert.

Becoming more and mroe tedious with this now as people in Squads dont bother playing any of their roles, sharing any packs, or even bothering to try/ attack bases in Rush mode.

You got to pay with people you know after a certain time. I never play this game on my own anymore. Probably only get in around 3 hours a week at the moment now as that's the only time me and 2 of my mates are usually on.

I need to ask a question regarding Sound settings.

Anyone use War Tapes setting? do you need a particular set up to use it? I tried it and the only difference to me is everything sounds louder, I don't have a 5.1 set up I just use the TV Speakers this maybe why but there is a lot of hype on youtube about this setting I want to know what it really does and is it benefitial to me in any way?

Its preference really. It adds gain and distortion as well as various filters to mimic overload on a mic...thus "war tapes" i.e. like old war tape recordings.

It equalises a lot of the mix so ambient sounds become very loud also.

All setting are 5.1 just pick the one that best matches your set up. "war tapes" is the least pure but if you like it then go for it.

Two maps for rush and two maps for conquest. Along with some extra guns.

The extra guns are only included with the limited edition and can be earned through normal play....I believe.

Thanks. Haven't noticed being dumped out and lack of guns is not really a problem....not going to invest 1200 points in it then!

You get no extra guns with the VIP...its just the maps.

Sorry for not reading the thread but I've just got this again on rental. What are all these gold weapons that people seem to have? They seem quite powerful.

If you're talking about the highlight gold weapons on the killcam screen then its just that they are using a paid for skin on a standard gun.

Nah you defo earn better guns as you go through. I think the an-94 was my first wow gun.

This is going for £24.99 at the moment. Is it worth the punt? I enjoy playing MW2 but never liked the first BFBC game.

Its very good. But if I recall you werent a fan of the demo? I havent been playing much recently. I seem to get in to games with only a few people on each side. That and I hate the amount of deadzone on the sticks on 360 version.

Do you have the VIP code entered? Or is there just not that many people playing it now? I had a go briefly last weekend and experienced the same thing but I wondered whether it was because I hadn't input the VIP code and was therefore put on a "minority" server with other non-VIPs. After all, you can't mix VIP and non-VIP players on the same server as there are additional maps.

Yeah I got VIP. I seem to get into games of 8v8 usually and then after a few games its pretty dead and I leave and start the process all over again. I've had my fill now really so its a not a problem.

Yeah I wasnt the biggest fan but it does look like fun and my friends are all picking it up. I found a £2 voucher for play as well so I took the plunge. £22.99 cant be bad and I could always trade it in if I dont like it.

This is so annoying, can barely play early in the morning or late at night because its obviously just in an american based server with US players who have a major advantage. Surely theres enough euro players even at non-peak times? Why should we use yankee servers!

Dont know but just before I stopped playing I kept getting in to half full UK servers so maybe they collated them.

Just wondering if you guys struggle to join games that are full? For the last fortnight i play about a hour or two most nights and ive NEVER got a game with more than 18 people on!

Most of the time it's 7/8 a side

Yeah its always half full for me as well. Part if the reason I stopped playing. Got to the point where it would just be half filled games that dwindle down to nothing.
