No you didnt I was told it was P2P and I am lagging all the damn time when playing at night.

No it's not me either my connection is fine in any other game.

Yes its dedi servers, but I've got in to some lagging games tonight as well. Hopefully just a short term problem
 
When the game works I enjoy it, but I'm often finding I'm lagging all the time or we're being steam rolled by vehicles and nobody is doing anything about it except dying.

I try to take down tanks with my RPG but since it takes 3 or more shots from the front I can only get 1 hit on it before it either kills me or drives off and fixes itself. It's easy enough saying shoot it from behind, but all it does is camp near their spawn on the hill and never comes anywhere close. We also never have any tanks of our own either because people keep running off with them and instantly dying.

I would gladly play the game if it was <£20, but there is no way I am paying £40 for it and by the time it comes down in price nobody will be playing it anymore.

If you get it when its sub £20 I'll get it too
We'll be the only two players left so we'll have all the tanks to ourselves :D

The only fun I had earlier was me and Kreeeee running around as medics Defibbing enemies :D He did it on a tank aswell and it killed the guy in the turret :p Again the game was terrible, I was stood still and I was still jerking all over (;))
 
I think you guys have been very unfortunate to get into a laggy game. Don't forget, this is the BETA and there will still be things that will get sorted out, a lot of things.

I am sure this public BETA will make a huge difference in the end game. Also, another thing, this is one map out of how many possible? So can't really judge a game on it's 1 map BETA lol. If it's anything like BC1 I will 100% fork out for it. Well, I got it on pre order before even playing the BETA because I'm that much of a fan boi lol.

It's not a Beta, it's advertised as a demo.

Defibbing tanks should always kill the occupants, that would rock!

Part of the poor play is related to the fact its just a demo. They'll be a lot more people pulling their weight and playing as full squads in the final game.

As Kreeeee said its a demo but it is 7 weeks old and the majority of the PS3 beta fixes didnt make it in.

Again the random shaking is a bug that wont be in the final version either.
 
The one thing that is a little off putting in the game is the placement of the weapon models. They aren't central like other FPS games I have played. They seem high and to the right.
 
My mate briefly played the 360 version on a promo copy (he works for a magazine company and they get genuine promos for review) and hated it.
I'm very disappointed in him, he's such a MW2 whore, I was hoping he'd come over to the 'other side'.
 
I found the SP pretty dull in the first one, never even came close to finishing it.
I was only doing it for the trophies, but it wasn't worth it in the end.
BF games are about the MP, SP is irrelevant in my eyes.

Same for me. I tried getting back into SP about a year after starting the campaign but i soon got bored. Can't see BC2 being any different :(

Either way it's the MP i'm looking forward to.
 
Took out 3 choppers with a UAV :p 2 by bashing into them and throwing them off course so they crashed and 1 just by chasing and shooting it with the mounted machinegun.
