Yeah I'm sure there will. There's a lot of people on the official forums claiming that the PS3 beta was vastly superior to the Xbox 360 demo but I dont trust any of those guys and a lot of them sounded like fanboy statements.

Yeah a lot of people have said the same thing. seems the map from the PS3 beta is much preferred. I must admit I do prefer the look of the ps3 beta map but its probably a "grass is always greener" issue as well.

Edit. Its the same map shame but it runs better on the pc so will stick with that i think, looks better as well considering the pc beta you can only use medium settings.

I had no qualms about the game whatsoever with regards to framerate - it was teh jaggies that were a bit distracting. Noticeable on the desert landscape and I expected they would be on a snowy landscape, too but they weren't on the Xbox demo. So wonder if that version has AA and PS3 not. Will soon see... I am looking forward to playing again with the bug fixes though.

From what i've heard the 360 demo does have more AA then the ps3 beta which by the sounds of it had none. Hopefully its better now. Are you downloading/playing now ic1male? or are you out and about?

Yes, just had a quick go - the PS3 does have more aliasing. But I'm not bothered really. As soon as I had remapped the controls to Bad Company 1's settings, I was like a pig in mud. Shame I lost the round - I just didn't want to get out of my tank. :)
 
Runs and looks considerably better than the PC beta for me. I guess it's PS3 version for me, unless Dice sorts out the rubbish hardware/performance issues for the PC.
 
All I have to say is that I downloaded the demo earlier, have just got round to trying it now, and wow! The audio and visuals are very good indeed, the game feels really smooth and I'm enjoying it so far. A definite purchase for me and much more enjoyable already than Modern Warfare 2.
 
Initial impressions werent great, didnt seem very smooth but I was getting naded/shot at frequently. Seemed to be a lot of screen tearing as well on my Sony LCD. Don't usually get it.
 
Since moving from PC gaming to my PS3 I haven't got into any FPS at all. After playing the likes of BF2, CS:S, et al for years on PC I just couldn't adjust to playing similar games with a pad. Got rid of CoD4 after about a day, it was an awful experience on my PS3 compared to how I had played it on PC.

I entered into the demo of this expecting very little, but I was hooked after the first 5 minutes, and rushed off to get my pre-order in:D Plays like a mix of BF2 and ET:QWs for me, can't wait for the full game now:eek::D
 
Flabbergasted! Why, oh why can’t Dice learn how to code for controller changes, seriously!

Just fired up the PS3 version of BC2 to find that yet again, I’m forced to use L1 and R1, with no chance to swap to the triggers! Total joke this, I had hoped it was an oversight in the beta, but it looks like the only negative (for me) from BC1 is making it’s merry way into #2 :(

Oh well, I guess this is one notch towards me getting the 360 version…

Compared to BC2, MW2 has no gameplay – seriously, MW2 is just a run and gun fest, sure it runs well, but BC2 gives you so much more bang for your buck – I guess it will be marmite though as a lot of the people who favour MW2’s almost PC level of reaction speed, will find BC2 too slow. Those people are just mental though :D
