Seems some US stores have started selling this already and there's mention of EU store/s already doing the same. Any UK place breaking I'm sure we'd hear about it in a matter of minutes.

Hope not, I've already got my day planned out for next Thursday when I hopefully get it a day early. I only get to do my gaming on a Thursday when I have the house to myself! It'd kill me to have it and be able to play it

Wonder if I can go into town and blag an early copy... I know some of the stores got theirs early in stock, and some of the staff aren't very bright. A while back, I managed to blag MGS4 two days early because I acted like it was release day and the staff was convinced.

A certain highstreet store weren't very helpful today...they're doing an extra 20% on any games traded in against BC2, but the guy didn't know how much the game was going to be in the first place, all I got was "Uhh, forty or fifty quid?".

I managed to get the pre-order in at Tesco - I hope they honour it! I was trying to get on the demo today then realised why I couldn't.

Having only played the Demo once and not paying attention I'm not sure how this plays, is it more like BF1943 or the original BC, because I prefer 1943 over BC (netcode and hit reg etc).

Dont know if I already posted this but they are reducing the damage model by 25% on the final game. I.E less bullets to kill people.

Good, it is ridiculous at times the amount you need to kill someone. Although ill probably just be playing on hardcore servers anyway

That is excellent news, that is my major problem with the likes of Call of Duty MW2, on normal modes it just takes too much ammo to kill someone, I now play nothing else but hardcore which is SO much more fun.

With 25% less ammo needed to drop a guy on this game now, its just getting better and better, and only 1 week to go

I lost interst in MW2 when people started cheatiing, which was pretty much the first week or so.

Didnt someone say they had bought a server in the other thread? They will have to let us know what the IP is so that we can have an official OCUK launch night

I've never had a problem with the amount of damage it takes to drop someone, but if they want to go ahead and make it even easier for me, then I shan't grumble!

Great news on the damage, as engineer it often takes half a clip to drop someone ^^

Good news. The first sniper you got on the demo was awful, taking two shots to kill. By the time you've shot them the first time, they had vanished behind cover.
