I'm afraid EA's back end Plasma has died causing all BC2 servers to empty / crash.

Servers currently down will be unable to restart until Plasma is back up and running

I seriously hope it aint 8am in the morning when they come back up...
 
Just got the game in today, installing now, when the servers get up and running again, feel free to add me via steam, "setter27", look forward to playing this, ill also ad my name to the ocuk group.:)

would have been on tonight but cannot connect, will try again in a while but been playing the SP, bit easy even on hard but visually impressive and the squad banter is mildly amusing, especially the predator chat ;)

In your settings file there is a line that says like " DXversion=" if it's on auto then it will be running the highest yours can currently run. You can change it to whichever version you please.

TS3 + Ventrilo are pretty much on par with eachother.

TS2 however is terribad.
 
Had a very quick go on the sp. Rubbish. Linear, generic etc. Amazing sound though and pretty nice visuals.

Servers down for mp... fail.

I'll wait until tomorrow to properly judge this one.

I've found Ventrilo to be the best.... and I've used Teamspeak for competitive CSS play and it delays speech way more than Ventrilo, which is why we use Ventrilo until now.

Having said that, lots of people use Mumble for those reasons.

Teamspeak 3 is quite good though, I'd say it's pretty much similar to Ventrilo now.
 
the mp is best ive played in along time maybe since cod uo ,cod 1

about time there was a decent fps mp wise

lol at everyone clicking connect and crossing fingers hoping for login :D

this alone tells u how good it is.
