Hardcore is ok but think it kills team play a little bit, you can still "Q" spot but it's less effective.. loving Normal rush, more so with even teams. pity there's no auto balance atm, can't believe they never put it in at the start :confused:

Loving this game overall, get in a good squad and the action is intense, even the maps are good, they might seem smaller than BF2 and BF2142 but a lot of the map on those games wasn't used, on these BFBC2 maps you use 95% of the map to fight in or as a tactical route to the firefight without wasting time sight seeing :)

Got the usual EA bugs at start but sure those will be ironed out over time, not too much time though i hope. Noticed a few overclockers tags in games as well, gives a smile to be killed by or kill one of them :)

I had this problem this morning, i was using all the filters but only getting a few games showing so i just left it with the "no password" filter on and refreshed, i clicked the players filter then scrolled down to games with 3-4 spaces and just kept trying till i got in. was worried it might not be ranked but even though i never clicked ranked in the filters they were still showing up...

Keep trying m8, its deffo frustrating but i remember BF2142 being like that at the start, looked like spaces in game but always said it was full :(

yeah it is a bit frustrating i used the no password filter
but after about 30mins of trying im in :D
i am being owned left right and centre tho lol
 
Just played Arica Harbour. What an awful map - couldn't make any progress at all unless you're a sniper. Trying to earn some medic progression - not the map to do it on methinks.
 
Pasting the server address in the .ini file worked for me thanks, Joined the fun for 10mins until my tea was ready, I'll try and get back on in a bit :)

I play under pinchez btw
 
wow i was thinking of getting upgrade to 8800gt but by switching to dx9 i can get 50-80fps @ 1920*1080 so I think I'll hold off until BF3 hits :)

You should feel like a noob lol. The menus are the same on the ps3 and pc apart from the Squad page. Just press Enter when you are dead and pick you class.
