LOL they all use the same ea login servers, you would still get issues with the PS3 version, my brother cannot access on his 360 atm either

For what reason do you need to see your ping? I mean seriously if it's lagging you will know in which case swap server but apart from that it's not big deal

I am just used to looking at ping and having that as a guide as to what server I join.

I would pick a server with ping 15 over one with ping 150, wouldn't you?
 
Slightly annoying that this is still having intermittent problems. As others have said, you'd think EA would anticipate a massive game release and shore up the servers beforehand, instead of the game being launched and then EA exclaiming 'oh ****' as all the servers get completely hammered and die.

Very short sighted by EA and hopefully we'll at least have an official statement soon as on the Twitter page there only seems to be an entry about the Xbox 360 3 hours ago.
 
This server browser is starting to get on my nerves. It takes ages to do a full refresh (and automatically does it when opening the browser), even a small history that I have (which also stupidly seems to include my beta history) takes longer than doing a refresh of all TF2 servers. Also, I've been waiting 5min for the TFU server to be added to my favourites list but it just keeps 'waiting for data'.

True BUT I would have thought if you clicked for a quick join game it would connect you to a good stable ping, most games do that nowadays, if they don't in bad company 2 then that's another fail :p

I'm sure they'll add some sort of ping, more likely to be connection bars though I reckon
