Not to mention the fact that favourites and history filters don't work properly, I had to add my favourite server using an out of game settings file. Oh, and EA's excellent advice of: "If the Server Browser is taking a long time then just go and tick all of the filter boxes and try another search". Thanks EA, but perhaps I don't want to have all those search parameters...

Not impressed.
 
seriously i got this of steam so I could play instantly I wish I had just ordered by 2nd class mail saved me some cash and the game might be playable this time next week.
It is an utter joke that there servers are falling over again and again don't these fools ever learn they build up the hype and constantly fail to deliver I reckon we should all get a couple of free maps for this inconvenience of the launch weekend.

LOL YEAH their guide is to cancel half way through the search, that is not right it shoudl just work

They did say on a forum post their working to improve the server browser but I'm sure their working on many things atm so who knows when it will be sorted

Won't happen. A couple of days out of a game with a lifetime of 18 months plus - it's a drop in the ocean, and they know it. There will be a forum post apologising and that will be it.

For a preorder getting a game from Steam will never be instant LOL and it's way more expensive, get your preorder from GAME next time ;)
 
This game has turned into the biggest pile of ever.

When I can login, I spend 2-3 mins waiting for the server list to refresh, only to find I can't connect to any servers.
When I finally do get connected I either drop, or find the mostly full server is actually empty.

Favorites don't stick, neither do my history servers, and the filters work when they want to.
 
Came someone explain the HBAO setting and how it affects performance? I have everything on maximum in the settings but don't know what this is.
 
It's embarrassing, really.

Boasting about dedicated servers and things their rivals didn't have prior to release, then this.

Have to laugh. :)

I can't believe how crap this is turning out to be, I've spent the past hour trying to get into a server, and when I finally did I get kicked because Punkbuster didn't like me telling me to updated.

now I go to get a punkbuster updater and their site is down.

no words can describe how incredibly ****** off I am!

Horizon Based Ambient Occlusion.

Basically it's a nice lighting tweak, but tends to tax your GPU so make make the game feel a littel laggy.
 
PROTIP:

Open server browser, click 'cancel' on the refresh. type 'uk' into the server name bar, tick "not empty", "no password" and "punkbuster". Leave "not full" unticked. Now refresh. Much quicker list, only UK based servers and if one is full just keep clicking until you get in.
