I was on this pretty much all night tonight, the gameplay is so much better then BF3. I also had half a session on BF2. Makes me gutted to think they totally messed up BF3 it is nowhere near as good as BC2 and BF2. Tomorrow night it will be 1942 :)
 
Yep just finished here too. Was playing on a 2000 ticket Arica Harbor server, surprisingly I didn't get bored!

I've been hearing mixed thoughts on BF3, some people say it's absolutely jaw droppingly good, other's, complete opposite?

BF3 is not battlefield at all. Any BF veteran will tell you that, hell BC2 is not really BF but it is a good fast paced game unlike BF3. But I am old skool I was playing in the 1942 days, gutted the way it has turned out, totally dumbed down, 1942 maps are so much better and bigger then BF3 (has some impressive mods as well). 1942/BF2 and BC2 are way above BF3.

BF3 is for the new generation of players who never had hours and hours on 1942.

The big plus for BF3 is it looks amazing. Everything else is a big epic fail.

Up for a few rounds in this, a much better game than bf3 tbh. Least in this when you shoot at someone, it registers correctly. Bf3 is a lazy console port.
 
im up for playing this but i still get odd bs every now and again when playing this game :(

thinking it maybe sound related as even at stock still get it :confused:

Plenty of people play it.. we have two servers running and the hardcore is always full and sometimes even the softcore gets people in :D

Get on and play, BTW the softcore will be closing at the end of the month unless theres more interest :rolleyes:

nah not today had a german admin screaming at me though :D

whats peeing me off though since going over to w7 bfbc2 hates me ;( get bsod every about 30 mins. no other games crash even if on 24/7 think its sound related as temps are fine and it does it at stock .
 
You vill not use zee drill.:D

What sound card/onboard audio are you using. Had nothing but problems with bfbc2 with onboard sound and win 7 64 hp. Cured them by switching to a dedicated soundcard. Asus xonar DX.
