It takes about 6 bullets in normal mode, depending on the weapon. Let's not get into the normal vs HC debate again though

More like 3, but depends on the gun. I find normal has the right "battlefield" feel to it in BC2, but in BF3 hardcore provides a better balance (because in BF3 it realy does take 6-8 hits to kill on normal).

Yep, recon with a g3 assault rifle and some c4, lead to some hilariously funny moments chasing tanks/apc's. Quite often i ended up as a roadkill victim. But when you do get the charges planted and detonated, it's very satisfying. Saying that, in my haste to detonate the charges, i sometimes forgot to get clear in time.

Yea, superb kit - I love the long c4 toss "Death from above ******" plus demolishing buildings (especially destruction 2.0 TKs -100 points ) and explosions sounds and graphics are sweet.

I really do miss making people cry on this game,

Had a wee blast on this earlier today, brought back some great memories. Destruction in this is fantastic compared to bf3. Does take a bit of getting used to the different mouse movement and strafing again though.

Well, 3 body shots for a semi-auto except at close range, but I assumed when I replied that we were talking about auto weapons.

BC2 has always needed a decent quad-core processor to run properly.

Yea quad core really makes a big difference in BC2, the 260 is fine for med-high settings tho when couple with a Q6600.

yes this game actually pushes your cpu harder than bf3

It blue screened on me just a few mins ago, stock speed. Currently running memtest, posting from my second rig now. How long should i run it for?

Mine blue screened, found out it was my asus xonar sound card.

My reason for purchasing the xonar was because onboard sound om my previous mobo crashed bc2.

Xonar DTS working fine in BC2 for me. Sadly the card has other issues though :s

on my old mobo with phenom in mine would crash on with my xfi card in but with this movo it wont
