A few questions.

I suck at this game, I seem to hit people with my aim but nothing happen :confused:
Is that just me?

Any tips for a newbie? I'm struggling to get to grips with the recoil / aiming so any tips would be useful? I've played and being good at most other first person shooters but don't get this.

Do we have any OCuK servers?
 
Oh my goodness. Just bought this on Steam tonight after having played the PS3 version the past few days. It's total bedlam. Definitely need a lot of practise with mouse but I hate not having a crouch toggle. My little pinky hurts! :rolleyes:

Definitely, definitely, fire in short, sharp bursts. Recoil means you will waste half your magazine if you keep it held down, as I have discovered many a time.

Is there an area for OcUK noobs? I think I ended up in Saudi Arabia or somewhere for my first venture into PC gaming for aeons.
 
I've tried using bursts, everyone else just seems to kill me from some stupid angle a million miles away.

Same with being a sniper, I "seem" to hit people, for example I've shot them and they've not moved but nor have they taken any damage?

We kick random people to make room for members / OCUK guys , unless people are wearing tags so that we can identify them then they run the risk of being kicked to make room.

If you want to wear OcUK tags or something next time to stop this from happening that'd be great ;)
 
OcUK Server is finally working - They've done a reinstall.

Running conquest at the moment.

Search for "OcUK BFBC2 Server" and add to your favourites.

Btw, we don't kick for lack of OcUK tag.
 
Wish servers would put it in their damn description theyre playing noobcore. :rolleyes: 3 servers in a row now and as soon as you enter the game you hear the familiar sound of 16 snipers having at it.

We don't kick simply because people don't have the OcUK tag however if clan members or OcUK people who come on ventrilo require a spot on the server then we will kick a random from the public who hasn't been on the server for very long to make room.

I'll kick you if you come on the server though FrenchTart. ;)
 
God I love this game. Reminds me of the good old days of Delta Force 1/2 and BF 1942 / 2 sniper duals. Just unlocked the GOL and use it with a Spotter Scope. Raking up the points like crazy. All I need now is magnum ammo :)

How you run your own server is your own business. And as it's a clan server it's fair enough to kick people for your clan I guess.

I personally don't like it though so I won't be doing it on my own server.
