Getting to grips with 2nd day of online play, but it is a bit of a headache having to unlock medic packs for a medic. Only get an hour or 2 a night, so will take some time to unlock all other professions.

Seems hit and miss close up - machine gun vs pistol, pistol seems to win more! Had some silly moments with a quad bike - great at circling tanks and confusing them!
 
Had some fun trying to fly a heli for the first time, the guys were roaring when I stuffed it into the ground!! EPIC FAIL! Seems very tricky need some practice at that me thinks!

Servers down again? Anyone else not able to connect?

Had the weirdest bug last night... Me and my clan joined a server after a few games the teams where uneven. So we said next game we would switch sides... So the game started (before we spawned) we switched sides... I was the first to spawn and Spawned in the base we should have spawned in as an Enemy... Next second all the people who changed team with me were also in their spawn with me.

Was strange.
 
I've gone from the Gustav to the M60 now and I have to say being Medic is extremely rewarding and you actually feel like you're contributing more to the game by reviving / getting jam off peoples faces. :) M60 ***!

I love the M60 tbh... I feel I do best with that gun, now I have the accuracy thing I feel I do amazing, at distance it's not bad either.

I use the magnum ammo for the damage , firing in small bursts at a distance it's amazing. Probably 2 / 3 shots to take someone down? Love it
 
i know the maintence started at 8am today anyone know when we can be back on :D ?

also if sniping just keep at it till you get the gol its the dogs :p looks same as the basic green one from cod 4.

as for people on about the ak and other guns its just the recoil. thats why a lot miss with em cause they keep there finger on trigger shoot in small bursts of like 4 or 5 bullets .

this is why pistol is so deadly cause of the lack of or small amount of recoil.

I think the great thing about battlefield is that no matter what you play as, there is always a use for you.

Even the grunts provide invaluable ammo.
 
Trying to make my mind up about sniper rifles in Hardcore...

.... is it best to have a bolt action rifle - one shot one kill no matter the distance but risk missing and having to reload loosing the target in the meantime, but when you do get a hit it feels good :p
.... or a less powerful semi-auto 2 shots per kill, which is find also better if you want to run around a little as its more mobile and easy to shoot things close range.

Also what does magnum ammo do? I havent unlocked this yet, does it turn a semi-auto into a 1 shot 1 kill machine?
