I'm not sure mate, if your getting a lag every 5 - 10 mins which looks like its taking screenshots then yes.

Its basically a command in Punkbuster config. Its an optional command, Basically all server owners need to do is take all of the following commands out to stop it:

Pb_sv_ss & pb_sv_autoss (must only be the autoss, not the auto).

Anyways the TFU server should be fixed by 2nite.

i played for like 4 to 5 hrs straight on nM last night and not one lag issue during that time.

i always look and see if theres lots saying it like over 5 at same time then maybe a issue but when its like 1 person every now and then i would say its there end.


try going on other servers neil for next week ill come with you :) i bet you still lag :p also the guy who owns runs nM runs servers for a living lol

DG, not trying to be an idiot but i do find your server very laggy a lot of the time, altho i've had no lock up's or CTD's. Might be an idea to ask MP. Bet your box is overloaded with other busy servers, same happend to us when we had a few servers running back in the day.

crashes arnt from the server thats bfbc2 or unstable overclocks , driver issues and whatever else bug in the game.the game is buggy we all know this.

half of the people talking about lag crash and have said there pcs shut off or things like this . obiously a pc problem (your end).

but.... to stop any issues i have had a word with darren he will have a look at the server but im 100 percent sure its the same four or five with the issues themselves to behonest .

the reason i say this is i have been on other servers with them and they say the exact same thing ;) not ever server can be laggy :)

As you've said already Darren has loads of experience with running and config'n servers, not doubting that but i'm telling you that we had the same problem with one of our long term servers that turned out to be a MP problem because the box it was running was overloaded. The fact the server's been running from day one is exactly the reason why people are having problems. I bet you that if you asked for the server to be moved machine's every1 would stop complaining.... just go back to the first 100 pages of thethread you'll see this has been said before.

at end of day you shouldnt have a 150+ ping on a uk server on any game . if you have YOU have issues. what those issues could be is anyones guess .

i guarentee the first ones if they mention lag you look at there ping and they have a 150 plus ping put money on it ;) . im sorry that wont be server side either cause if it was mine would go up and it simply doesnt nor any of the others who im on ts with .

True, we had so many people moaning at us about it in the very begining, either way people will moan. We dont actually see many ocuk on our server for some reason ??? .

All i say is i'm running a stock i7 stock 5850 stock 6GBGT doms on a rampage 2 extreme mobo with a 50mb connection and to me the server felt like one of our old one's.
