Anyone else had problems with the Updater?

Said it found new version so left it downloading while i went for my tea. Came back to find a window saying it "couldnt find a file. Could be my internet connection"

My net is fine. Trying again now
 
Just wondering if you gfx card only supports DX10 and in the config file DX Version is set to auto, it would set my card to play the game in DX10? (ati 4770)
 
game arrived this morning from gameplay

runs smooth looks awesome

but i got an issue:=

i got vet rank 2

game is showing that garand is unlocked by showing a star next to it

but when i join a server no garand

anyone else got this issue?

sorted the no ping in server browser by right clicking bfbc2game.exe and selecting run as admin

that m1911 pistol is too powerfull when compared to rifles!

Steam version pre loaded and waiting. Sadly im house sitting for a week where theres no internet :(

I'm also running an 8800 GTS and I'm buying a 5870 on pay day. I really wanna wait out and only play it with the new card? Shall I try it? I don't think I could!!
 
Fur Fuxakes!!!! Just installed - Updated - 2 mins in game > Crash!!

Took an age to connect to a server.

Can someone paste up a copy of UK based (Or decent <50ms pings) servers that i can paste into my .ini file.

Downloading the PBSetup (719KB) @1.3 KB/s !!!1!!!1111111!!!
 
I got a question. I have just downloaded and installed the game via Squirrels instructions. Got the ISO, got my code of EA.

When I go to install the game I get a product code question, fair enough I thought, until I realised that its asking for a 5 box code and the one I have is 4.

For example:

XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

When I only have:

XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Any ideas on that one? :D

Ok it appears with my above issue with the help of ScareySquirrel that I was using the bonus unlock code to try and get in the game.

Checked on the EA page and my order status is "Order Submitted" but I have no code in the BF:BC2 Limited edition section, just the bonus section.

It's been 5 hours now and no code...strange!
