im hoping that mine turns up tomorrow, said yesterday morning it was sent, so fingers crossed, especialy when my mates already have it gaaaaaaaaah the pain.

But then it just becomes about who see's who first, i've got Call of Duty for that.

I like the fact someone can shoot me from behind, and i can still manage to turn round and kill them because i'm not dead the instant one or two bullets hit me.

It sorts out those who despite recoil can consistantly aim and those who can't and also stops you getting killed easily by the spray and pray brigade. :)

My copy from game arrived today. Such an epic game :D. Performance seems pretty good. 1680x1050, all high, 4xMSAA and 16XAF with HBAO Off, directx10 (win 7) never goes below 40 in game and usually between 45-60 even in heavy firefights. Does this sound about right for my setup?

My only gripe is that 40fps on this game seems a lot slower than in others :confused:. I don't know whether its because most of the time sits at 60/70ish that i really notice it when it drops or something else.

Awesome game though, Single player is fun and just had a few goes on multiplayer. Havent had any connection problems....yet.

Checked on the EA page and my order status is "Order Submitted" but I have no code in the BF:BC2 Limited edition section, just the bonus section.

It's been 5 hours now and no code...strange!

You're having exactly the same problem as me - no code anywhere to be found :(
 
Paid for the extra special delivery option from Game (+£5!) and it still didn't arrive today! **sigh**

Website says:

04/03/2010 Your order has been dispatched.
02/03/2010 Your order is currently being picked and packed.
02/03/2010 Your credit/ debit card has been authorised and your order is now being released for packing.
Funds will not be debited until your order is shipped.
01/03/2010 Your order is waiting for authorisation and release for packing.
23/02/2010 Your order is currently held as a Preorder
 
So, this unlocks at midnight on steam. There is a patch also, does anyone know if this updates via steam or does it have an auto-updater?

Would suck if this unlocked and everyone on steam was forced to wait for a painfully slow to download patch :p

i would complain. I ordered mine with free delivery and it got here this morning.
 
Sometimes paying for the Express delivery is a bad idea. They know it will arrive the next day, so can afford to send it on the Thursday for Friday delivery. Whereas with the free post, it can take about 2-3 days, so they post it earlier.

You know why though surely?

Game state 1-2.. or 2-3 days delivery when selecting free delivery. They're gambling on a despatch date to get it to us for release day.

Whereas if you order and select 'Next day delivery' they're going to release it a day BEFORE release day as they know it will arrive on time :p

EDIT - Ffs squirrel! :p

well, yeh but that still seems bad that you get it a day after someone who hasnt paid for delivery.

But yeh i know why Game have done it.
