The Steam version unlocks at 1am tomorrow, well, should do.

Nah, I'm downloading the Image of the game from internet. I have purchased my EA Code through their website/store. Download should all be done when I get home.

Going to install the game as though I had bought the retail disk but use the internet code from EA to activate the game. Then I'm going to add it into Steam.

Hopefully it all integrates with Steam properly this way!

Looking forward to getting home now :D Praise the lord for internet snap decision purchases and the ability to remote home from work and set it all up so I am good to go when I get back :D

So, does anyone recommend playing SP first just to familiarise with the game before jumping into MP or should I just go balls-deep MP from the start? :D

Well I never played the beta and didn't even have the 1st Bad Company but have had all the Battlefield series and this is a great edition. Loving the game so far but i'm getting owned :( any advice for a noob just starting out?

Gonna grab some food, Got all day to play this - YAY for Man Flu ;)

EADM contains better compression, DA: O came in at 50-70% of the files size of Steam, cut about 6gb out I think!

It's not compression per se - EADM downloads the installer, whilst Steam downloads the install.

Jump straight into the multiplayer for all-out, balls-to-the-wall action :)
