*** Official Battlefield: Hardline Thread ***

Got email for the beta and it has no code... oh EA xD
Now lets see how long they respond to my question about it haha.

Can you only drive certain vehicles? It would have been nice to be able to hot wire some cars seeing as you're a criminal.

This bugs me too, and why as a criminal do you handcuff beople when you melee them with the baseball bat from behind. Surely you'd go for the kill considering you've already shot at them

I enjoy how the modes play, but I'm not sure I like how it plays......it's very odd feeling.

It's fun but I have been burnt by bf4 at launch and I can see this game being exactly the same and taking months to sort out from launch.

I'm enjoying Blood Money but if your not playing with friends you get randoms who don't work as a team. The vehicles should be used to escort the money from the vault to your "home" safe, yet all people do is drive around like a mad man so the runners with the cash get killed.

All I see when I look at this is how this should be DLC, theirs no way in hell this should be a "new "game, remember when we got the Vietnam expansion in BC2 for £15?

guys this is EA. nothing we can do unfortunately apart from bend over.

hopefully there is a cheap offer for us BF premium subscribers for all the crap we have had to put up with their latest game.

I strongly believe they should show some loyalty discount for us that stuck by their shoddy put together game riddled with bugs and crappy servers but I doubt they care tbh.

Well after a week of playing with BF 'Cops and Robbers' it is as I had feared, not Battlefield at all but more like Call of Duty meets GTA. Maps are tiny, although they have good vertical height, which has already made the Beta a snipers paradise. The maps have too many choke points and it is very reminiscent of BF3 Metro. With eight players per team it was running pretty smooth, with 16 a side, it turned into a huge lagfest, with player names taking upto 2 seconds to appear and stuttery gameplay. I think the devs have missed a huge trick, not making all of the vehicles in game driveable.
The graphics themselves (PS4) are reminiscent of BC2 on an XBox360, sefinitely not next gen. Levolution has been added to the game (tower crane collapses) and has the same effect as in BF4, dragging the whole game framerate down to 5 - 10 fps (lets face it, Levolution sucks).
Weapons choices are similar to BF4 and IMHO just as badly, if not worse, implemented, with EAs own brand of balistics, that have no comparisson to their real world counterparts. Annoying issues like the EOTECH holographic sight on the M4, the red dot and ring obscure the target and dont project a holographic sight over the image. Plus the recoil is unwieldy.
Overall this does not look like Battlefield, it does not feel like Battlefield and does not play like Battlefield. Is it a AAA Title ? Definitely not, it feels and plays more like a mod. Value wise I'd pay £20 max for it, just for novelty value, otherwise I'll stick with Brokenfield 4 and hope that eventually they fix it.

Well..you can not buy it.

I want a decent up to date multiplayer FPS game though.

COD is the only other option and they have also bent the community over many times especially with DLC.

Why couldn't wolfenstein of had a multiplayer?

We wont get a decent one though till we show them we wont pay money for lazy cash ins though, im the same, love my FPS games, but these modern ones arnt doing it for me.
