*****Official BBQ Thread - Suns out, Buns out!*****

where the silver meats the black on the bottom just use some high temp sealant stops extra air going in so it's more controllable ..

I bought a Napoleon Pro 22 last year - but barely used it.

Got any tips?

@flea.rider - what do you mean by "seal their middles"?

@GJF47 - funnily enough I'm looking at the OnlyFire rotisserie right now - I was going to go for the combo with the pizza oven additions - just because it seems like a useful set of extras for £20 or so. Is that what you went for?

I've never had to seal mine, it's always been fine. Done plenty of longer cooks on it before I had the Masterbuilt too.

I haven't got the pizza oven but I can highly recommend the OnlyFire rotisserie. It goes on offer quite often too.

Not a good start there! Have you heard anything from them yet?

I use a 20,000mAH power bank for my Masterbuilt. I've used it for 12 hour cooks and there is still more than 50% left. It works for the unit and the rotisserie at the same time too.

Hopefully they will get it sorted for you... Not good having problems that soon after spending that amount of money as you say!

The powerbank I use is:

I had it on offer from MyMemory.com but they no longer stock it. It was only £20 when I purchased. You would be able to use any decent 20,000mAH one though as long as it's got 2 x USB out ports to power the unit and rotisserie at the same time.

I use my old 10,000mAH for shorter cooks and it works fine too but it didn't have enough juice for 10+ hour cooks.

You'll also need two of these to go to the cables on the MasterBuilt:

Is a Weber 5750 a solid bbq choice? At the price point (on sale at £240) I can’t see a reason to go for the higher models. Is there anything else to consider? I plan to get a cover with the idea that it will stay outside generally in summer when are using frequently and go in the garage for periods of wet weather. Is that sensible?

Many thanks

Where is it at that price?

How long have you had it?

I've had ones like that before and you get 3-4 years before they are rusted and unusable.

I have 2 Webber kettle BBQs and the oldest one is 12 years old and still in good condition.
Whilst not cheap I will say the Webber stuff is good quality. I've also got a Kadai, they come pre-rusted for your convenience They seem to last well though, old school Indian engineering!
