*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

I just got an email from a well known etailer saying they will not be using royal mail. Is the official release date monday then? Thought it was strange i got an email this early. I`m off tomorrow so lets see if it arrives :D
 
The earliest you will get the game is Monday, but from the big retailers then its Tuesday. All these dispatch e-mails are just confirming that your game is in storage with either the courier or retailer all packged up.

So don't get too excited.

look on other forums/google plenty of people have received it by post

plenty more dispatched. and there no way in hell parcel force are going to hold tens of thousands of games to deliver for nearly a full week and then deliver them all on the same day. i dont even thin they offer that service. especially not going to happen when they will already be under staffed because of the RM strikes

It was up on torrents a bit earlier than that though...

Disclaimer: I just checked for when it came out on Usenet, I am not claiming to have the game nor have I played it...before people start!

News sites or just came across it when browsing torrent sites for other stuff, which a lot of people do. :p

im royally annoyed now then, i emailed my website of choice (a famous brand that have a terrible website but had it for 54.99 hardened edition) two days ago now and im yet to receive a reply, as i can see they have now real email contact system just a note leaving thing where they 'email you back' i asked them when they would be shipping the game and if they would be using royal mail as lots of other companies have shipped already. im seriously considering cancelling my order and getting it from somewhere (for a higher price) that i can trust to deliver it for the release date
 
Great just got confirmation email that the three prestiege editions we got on order have been cancelled even though funds have been taken !!!!!! ***** off now!!!!
