must admit recently im just walking around owning everyone i see with SCAR, seems like a stonking gun, can't believe i never really used it much. SCAR, heartbeat, silencer, cold blooded, ninja = ghost :D

I can't see you getting many kills with that setup unless you have a rafica as a secondary or summit as the scar although powerfull is greatly nerfed by clipsize and fire rate + loooooong reload times. I am thinking 4-5 kills max before you run out of ammo on the thing. you should try this out - OMA - Famas silencer/m16 silencer + stopping power and ninja then if the uav goes up switch to a Scar with OMA C/B ninja- huge benefit + I wouldnt worry about thermal snipers as I am guessing you are in thier spawn snipers always look outwards. I always swap now if the enemy uav goes up I switch to a C/B silenced ACR setup and it sure does fool the enemy.

no it was wrong, i don't use silencer on SCAR (thats FAMAS) i use scavanger pro with SCAR, because it has terrible magazine size. plus claymores and AT4 are great fun with scavanger :)

also im very conservative when it comes to ammo usage, unlike my mate who uses ammo like no tomorrow! he runs around blazing with M240 which gets him plenty of kills, though i get plenty of kills bursting/single shotting with SCAR, on hardcore its like 'trigger tap' and they're dead! unless they have last stand or painkillers, what are these painkillers they use, something SERIOUSLY strong to stop you dying when you get shot, gotta be like capsulated morphine or something!

Im using the SCAR recently and with extended mags the clip size is decent and a lot of bullets with scavenger. My favourite gun at the moment
 
I did like the Scar on extended mags for a little while, but when you can only see the head it's ranged accuracy is worse than the initial burst of a TAR.
 
i was playing call of duty from the market place,and i was shocked to see that you can change the thompson machine gun and other guns to single fire,semi or full auto,by pressing up on the Dpad why didnt they put this in mw2 cod4 or mw2

Aye, I thought that when I first played MW2, having not played CoD since #3 on the Wii.

Doesn't the FAMAS actually have a dial on the back for the amount you can burst fire, too?
 
why do people use the AK, it just seems terrible? plus its basically a terrorist gun! :D in hardcore the FAL is seriously deadly as well, on Favala i one shotted a bloke in the foot with a FAL under the car :)

never could understand why in reality the Barrett .50 is the most powerful of all the sniper rifles in MW2 yet on the game it seems like an expensive lump of fail. hell on Wasteland once i was having my .50 FMJ rounds seemingly stopped by a blade of grass and im like 'WTF?!' and the dude goes and shoots me with a freaking Uzi at range! he was next to washing machine or oven, or whatever it is and i was next to house (right near Hind).
