*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

Gotta say, thats the closest my controller has got to smashing right through my screen, it makes me so ****ing mad when people repeatedly don't die (in hardcore) from 2 sniper bullets then as soon as I spawn 2 enemies run through the door next to me before I can even turn towards it. :mad:
 
I think XBL has been a bit flaky tonight to say the least, the amount of dodgy host connections tonight has been a bit mental. Warp factor 10 engaged.. Don't help when the matchmaking picks the worst possible person for host every single bloody time. Let's just give everyone 2 bars whilst the host rapes face.
 
It's not that hard to avoid a claymore and you should only get caught out by it once, it's just the idiots who run into them over and over again.

Lightweight lets you run past it
Scrambler Pro delays the detonation to around 3 seconds
Flash and Stun grenades disable them
Sit rep lets you see them a mile off

Or just a well aimed semtex through the window will take care of the camper and the claymores.

Claymores only get me once! (unless Alrik is the one placing them)

I find the easiest thing to do is throw a stun or flash at them that way whomever dropped it has no idea that you are there as thier early warning system has not gone off.

Claymores are a ******* in HC. I've been killed by them loads even when i've seen one,heard it click and run back around the corner where I saw and it's still killed me:mad:

lol how true, hate lightweight pro and commando pro with 10ft knives, played one round with loads of people using that set up, havent played it since, must be 6 months now, at least !!

The first one,stimulus. I think all the maps on it are alright with Bailout being the best and one of my favourite maps in the entire game. I think resurgence is a load of crap really.
Although I wouldn't bother with either as Black Ops is out in a week. Unless you're not planning on getting it.
 
This game just gets worse, i stood behind a guy with my ACR and used every single bullet on him.... only for him to turn around and kill me with a pistol.
next game i got my friend to meet me and i shot him with over 200 bullets and he said he was getting shot, but he still didn't die.
Don't seem to be able to kill anyone for some reason, knifing doesn't kill them, stuck a semtex to a guy... that did nothing.
Xbox live runs out soon so i'll be getting black ops on ps3 i think, depending what people say about it after a week or two.

So the PS3 now has hacked lobbies?

Just joined a game where it was impossible to hit anyone, I mean literally I was standing behind someone and put an entire clip into their back, I did this on 3 different people (Grenades seemed to work). Then one of the other team got a chopper gunner which was killing everyone the second they respawned. I quit after about 2mins when someone on their team had over 100kills and I was top of our server with one kill.
 
Started playing this again after like a 5 month lay off. Still pretty good at it, not as quick as I used to be but getting there, k/d ratio was 3.11 but now 3.06 from messy games lol.

I only got a 1.95KDR :( 147000 kills and 75000 deaths good spread though.

It takes weeks for my KDR to go up or down by 0.01% tbh.
