*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

Hey guys......can someone describe in detail what state this game is in on XBOX.

I see its the second most played game on live so I'm guessing its probably showing around 200,000 online most of the time?

Is it all/lots haxed lobbies?

Hows the tubing? :D

I'm thinking of buying it again. I love to hate MW2 but miss the maps and some of the guns.

How is it after BO?

Last time I played on the 360, it was great! ACR + RDS F T W

Not a lot of hacked lobbies, tubing wasn't too bad.

Was very enjoyable. It's not hard to get into again after Black Ops.

I was playing it regularly until last week and even though there are less than 1000>6000+ Domination players the match making seems better than Black Ops where it has 34K+ to pick from. So much for Locale Only.

I play it almost daily and not come across a hacked lobby since they fixed it months ago. Tubing can be hit and miss it really depends what game type you play, Domination is full of it.

I will agree with that - stay away from Dom and Ground War and tbh it turns in to a great game again. Whereas if you like OMA Tubing then those are the playlists for you.

If you must play Dom then try HC mosh or Team Tac.

I don't agree Domination is full of it as it was the only mode I played. I guess it can be full of it when you're doing it yourself ;)

That can be taken either way.

Or

Every Domination game I've been in recently has atleast 1 or more idiot sitting in a building waiting for someone to go for the flag and when they do the tubes are let rip, which is why I only play TDM now. The tubers rarely play TDM because of the score limit, since they can't get their nukes :rolleyes:
 
Was the only mode you played, go try it now. It's full of tubers and quickscopers whereas the other game modes are relatively free of it, sabotage is great fun no room for tubers in that mode.
 
I'd be contradicting myself if it was the first option.

As I said a couple of posts above it's only been a week and I don't consider one player as it being full of tubers. That 'person' in a room was you on Sub Base in the Rest Room overlooking the Tank Alrik :p

Thanks guys.....I'll grab a copy soon. Don't want to pay more then £20 though. Few places have it at that price.

Cant believe there's more people playing this over Reach.
 
Try Morrisons, should scan at £12.99 or the site with too many letters from the wrong end of the alphabet £17.95.

I didn't say one player, I said atleast one or more in every game of Domination I've played over the past month. And yes I do keep them out of the upstairs on both sides of Subbase your point being? I go in there so the enemy aren't in there and it's guaranteed that everytime I move away half the enemy team tries to get in there. I also tube the bunkers on Afghan to clear the snipers out who would just sit there the entire game if I didn't and I do the same to the bunker on Wasteland otherwise my team just keeps running in there and dying until we lose the game.

I do what I need to win, since my team doesn't listen when I tell them not to run into the bunker for the 15th time in a row.

Also who are you again? :confused::p

You can say Zavvi you know, as long as you don't link to the items your talking about.
 
I agree Bunker on Wasteland and the Bunkers on Afgan are what tubes are for even Danger close tubes, anyone that says otherwise and gets shot 10 times in a row trying to get them out "cos tubes are for noobs" is just plain stupid. 1 tube hits bunker triple kill job done!

The problem with tubers is the guys that spawn and first thing they do is switch to tube and run around with it on now thats what a noob does he may get two kills die respawn and switch to it again. So many times I have seen this. I believe if you are going to attach a tube to an AR then move up using bullets to a good spot that over looks the spawn then when you spot 2 or more let rip nothing wrong with that.

What I mean is when I joined a Sub Base Domo game in progress it very much appeared that you were the player in there camping doing the tubing. I know it was you as I had to crouch crawl along the catwalk (non ninja class) to stab you in your OMA clad back ;)
 
I'll ask again, who are you? I don't recall ever playing against you. I play a lot of Sub base games you can't expect me to remember every single person that kills me.
 
Alrik give up asking, clearly Finite (Ghimph) is avoiding the question, he probably just randomly dropped in to the lobby and now he just wants to brand you as a OMA Tuber.

Let him who cares....... :p as long as we win all the time I couldn't care less if you tube every damn game lol
