*** Official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Thread ***

Going to bunk off work at 10 and see if there are any copies left. Then I've a week off to batter the MP. Whats your rank wyrdo I need to catch up :D
 
Went to Sainburys and it was closed :(, so I've come home and ordered a copy from them, and I'm gonna go back later to see if I can get my hands on one..
 
Just got back from Sainsburys.

Me and my brother set off at 6.15 to pick up one of his mates. When we pulled into the carpark there looked like a few people waiting. Wasn't until we got out the car we seen about 30/40 people already queued up (About 6.25 by now). More and more people started to arrive, until altogether just before 7 there was about 150 people queued up. It was 1 copy per person, but you could buy 1 for 360 and 1 for the PS3.

My brother's mate who's only 17 got ID'd at the checkout and got denied the sale :eek:. Luckily some guy who we got talking to in the queue behind us was buying it for the PS3, but had bought a 360 copy to sell aswel so sold it to him for the £26 in the car park ^_^

Just glad i got up early now, didn't think there would be anyone else there really.

Oh and btw, the guy who was 1st in the line looked freezing and had wrapped himself in a towel for warmth, no idea how long he'd been there for :p
 
Got mine on way to work. Got there at 6:40 and were about 30 people in front of me. But by store opening there was about 200 people queuing. Mental. Got my copy though and I have to stare at it all day before I can go home and play it. Fun times! :( :p
 
Just got back from the chaos that was Stoke's Sainsburys.
Thanks to the guys that let me in the queue after the confusion instore :-D
 
Got mine on the way to work.

Pulled into Sainsburys car park at 6.45am to find quite a few cars already parked up and a line of people forming.

Was out in 10 minutes after the store opened, so happy with that.

Unfortunately I now have to sit a work all day and then pick the wife up to do our weekly food shop. :(

Far more people walking out with 360 versions than PS3.

Got my PS3 version for £26, i also noticed they are selling Sony and Ninty consoles for 20% off.
 
Well I popped to the large orange supermarket this morning for just after 7am and there was a queue of about 20/30 people waiting to pay. I saw the £26 price tag, picked up a copy and now it's installing to the HD :D

Might be a slow work day today :p
 
Just been to my closest Sainsburys before work. £26 and they said some people had apparently been in the car park waiting since 3am for 7am opening LOL. sold about 40 - 50 before i got there at 7:30am which is suprising as its a pretty smallish store in a not so big town, i wonder what the bigger one in the middle of Swansea was like.

Just got back from Oadby Sainsburys.

I got there at 7:45 and there was a queue of about 25 people. By 8 there was around 60-70 people.

They had 4 tills open just selling COD and they gave everyone raffle tickets.

They had 114 for ps3, 98 for Xbox and 4 for Wii! You were only allowed 1 copy regardless of format.
