Multiplayer is so much fun, until your game times out and your about to win. Complete joke when the host throws a paddy and quits
We had one quit when we had one point to go. We were somthing like 199-36 and the game ended. How we all laughed
Still having very mixed games. I'm around level 34 (when you get the gold 'I' as opposed to the green emblems) and sometimes I can compete quite well amongst those double my level. Other times I get annihilated! Can't seem to get any consistency to my game, mostly I'm just innaccurate spraying AUG bullets everywhere rather than bursting.
If I can address that I'd do okay most games. Had a corker on Sub playing Dom. No-one could get in the building around C, I was like a man possessed lol. Then go to Wasteland and got destroyed.

Prestiged yesterday the only thing I really miss is cold blooded on a noob team and not just jumping out of games because you don't need the match bonus. The best you can do is pick the scout sniper and switch out the secondary.
I'm going to ignore all the other big challenges now and aim for prestige 9 which adds the 5th and final extra custom class slot.

The best tips I would give apart from learning the maps and which corners to check (which comes with time). Is to make sure you settle down with a good class that suits you. If you keep changing kit all the time it is more difficult to get to grips with it.
Other than that I'm not sure what else I can suggest, a lot of it is down to experience, getting to know the feel of the game, I was probably in the 60's when I first started to consistently "own" then once I got past my post-prestige wobblyness about lvl 25, so it's not just down to gear...
Oh and don't play laggy games.
Pfff I jump out of games anyway, I really don't have the patience to play laggy games, my W/L ratio is pretty low because I quit so many, good thing I'm rarely ever host when I quit.
Cheers for the tips. I have 3 classes in rotation really - SCAR, AUG and UMP45. Not used the UMP for a while though, so mainly the AUG, then the SCAR. I've had my best games with the AUG but have been more consistent with the SCAR, so I'll just have to keep trying.
I'm definitely more familiar with the maps on Dom at least; seem to miss a lot of the action on TD. I think I just need to be better with the sticks having only had the PS since September. Never really played a console FPS (aside from the Wii which is a different story!) since the N64.

That's pretty neat, but charts can never show you the "that is so you" factor of a gun
Also, when are you going to prestige!? It's so much fun.
Yerp , some guns just click , but the chart gives you a good idea of how each gun will perform.
Never going to prestige, ever. Not worth it

I used it originally but found the recoil too high compared to the scar. Might have to give it another go though

The ump's amazing! I use it on my knifing class, so good for them times when you need to aim fast.
I got someone down to last stand and then they left the game before I could finish them
I've been playing FFA and literally in 4/5 games people are nuke boosting, first game I joined had 1 second left then I got nuked. Then I found 3 people at it on Underpass, boy was is satisfying to throw semtex right on top of them.
Anyone have a list of where people usually hide to nuke boost? Sometimes I run around the entire map and cant seem to find them.

i came across it yesterday, one place on terminal is behind the fork lift trucks in one of the corners of the map (near the downstairs lobby bit)
