The thing is, a couple of my clan mates like the series and we were talking about it last night whilst playing BF3. They both KNEW that the game would suck donkey balls on the graphics front but they just like the run and gun mindless gameplay. I think it is fair to say that MW3 will sate that appetite once again for them.

I agree, BF3 gets too much sometimes.

Pretty sure it says you will receive mw1 the next day, but you have to download straight from their site. But yeah you should have had mw3 key by now I would think, let me check hukd to see if all those guys got it.
 
Fair enough Papa :) My rant was just aimed at people who couldn't wait even 12 hours to see if the game was awful or not and blindly threw their money at Activision, shouting "Anally compromise me once more, please! Also, I encourage you to anally compromise me many times in the future!"

But these are just first impressions, people will undoubtedly settle i to the game. For me, it's back to CoD4 MP (again!).

It's worse atm. Sure, they have dedicated servers, but there are only like 15 of them atm and they're pretty much empty. Everyone is using matchmaking, which has the same problems as MW2, in that they are player hosted. Cue many "Could not migrate host" errors.

Not to mention the joy of having your SSD drive load the map quickly, then have to wait 25 seconds for the crap host to load his before you can actually play.

Once the dedis are actually being used, I think it'll be much better.
 
So playing on the dedi's in much much nicer and I quite enjoyed myself. At least I did until I realised that dedi's are not ranked and you're not able to change from the default weapon classes. Boo.
