Afraid not. I found BF3 too slow for my tastes. Much prefer hectic chaos.

Aha, something tells me I may have even wasted £26. Although I love COD just for the campaigns more than anything else, as it always normally dilivers on that front. Many people just appreciate the multiplayer elements of MW. For me, I always play the campaign before even touching the multiplayer.

I thought the dedi's were supposed to have all weapons/perks unlocked?

That's what made me interested in this one as I doubt I'll be playing enough to unlock everything...

Supposidly dedicated servers have everything available, although this is completely up to also what the admin decides to accept.

Changing the graphics settings to native (opposed to extra) apparently fixes the texture issues.

Just tried that and it looks much better.

Good news. I'm debating whether to buy it or not, it's either this or BF3. Will be played on my GX740 laptop (i5 2.26, 4GB RAM, HD5870)

Anyone on the bench about this, don't do it. It's not worth full whack. There will be people here rimming it and saying how good it is, but they are either big COD fans or just trying to justify their wasted money. (We've all done it)

How are IW/Sledgehammer responsible for every gamers residential broadband connection?

The reason some hosts are smooth and some are laggy is due to their upload speed, and the state of their hardware. It has nothing to do with the makers of the game, unless like me you want to just point fingers at them for forcing the console P2P system on PC gamers.

Why is this a lol? MW2/3 being the exception to the rule that PC based FPS games have ranked dedicated servers and all?
