I picked it up from gamestation for £19.98 yesterday.
 
I've just picked this up yesterday and i'm trying to get into it, anyone got any tips to help me be more effective/get killed less?
 
I wonder where COD goes from here. The whole MW thing has run its course. Activision will either keep running it as it is and it will go the Guitar Hero way, or they will change it the same way it was changed from WWII.

I'd put my money on them keeping it as it is, Activision are not exactly renowned for innovation, and the current developers seem to think rehashing the same stuff over and over is progress.
 
Picked this up for £18 (GAME minus 10%) and I have to say, whilst the SP never really lets up (it's like being repeatedly punched in the face it's so intense), it's not actually that bad at all.

I mean yeah, if you've played MW or MW2 there's going to be little to surprise you but some of the set pieces are quite decent and the story isn't too bad by MW standards.

I doubt i'll take it online though. I'd rather run kebab skewers through the webbings of my feet.

Native is the highest setting, if like me you didn't know there was a setting better than Extra then you will have the blurry graphics. Set it to Native and it looks crisp and clear.

I did the same, i find it funny with the latest COD games i can win games easy even if i haven't played it for half a year. With any other fps game, this wouldn't happen :p
 
COD4 was awesome. I loved MW2 and they have just failed since then. If they reinvested some of their billions back into the game then I would have taken an interest. As it stands I refuse to give them my money. I would rather support DICE and their buggy frostbite 2 engine than the blackflops modern war fail **** from activision.

Thought I'd have a go at this again for a quick blast... holy ****, how many hackers!?!?!

Played 4 games... 3 of them with hackers... got fed up in the last one and started recording with afterburner :rolleyes:
