Hmmm I guess he means because in Halo you had to aim in front of the models to actually hit them :) was strange to watch...

OK but I was more confused at the fact that Halo isn't played competitively..? Also I didn't even think Halo 3 was out for PC?

I can't wair for this I just hope the gameplay hasn't changed much from CS:S the fact it's coming out on XBL Arcade worries me it's going to be easy ie low recoil and take loads of hits to kill someone.

So far both 1.6 & Source players has stated that the recoil is uncontrollable which lead them to using auto snipers.

The only thing that worried me from the i44 show match was the fact that skyboxes where back on the maps, this has just finally been removed from Source and makes the game so much better from a tacs point of view.

It worries me as I wonder what point they folked the source engine...

Dont like the fire bomb idea, Not sure I like the animations....and Im a huge CSS fan....Ill still get it and play it im sure, but will it grip me like 1.6 and CSS? Not sure...

Be really interesting to see how this turns out. Played CSS competitively for years, only quit 2 years ago. My main concern is that it's going to be geared for casuals.

Sorry, what?

I know the point was expanded upon before, but I've seen guys mock the idea of Halo requiring skill only to try the game for themselves and go a whole match with 50+ deaths and not a single kill or objective done.

There's only one game where the gulf between the best players and the new players are as massively gaping as Counterstrike's, and that's Halo.

I'm thinking the same :( (it looks like casual/public game, but maybe just the reviewers so far)

I've been playing css for years and looking at some of the videos it looks like css+tf2 put together :(

Started playing BF3 when it came out and I think I'm just going to go back to css as nothing really touches it.
If GO can live up to CSS / CS 1.4 then it's got to be worth it :D

Interested in giving this a try, looks decent, but I need to see a fair bit more to really tide me over.

If anyone has spare beta keys to give away, may I have one, please? :)
