Not for a very long time and not for any period of time that I can remember what it was like. It was way back when CS source was released though.

The only aim used is with Sniper rifles and an assault called the Aug.

Other than that its a case of using the crosshair to line up headshots... quickly.

I haven't played online in years but started back in 99.. and the game has come on leaps and bounds over the past 13 years..

There is a lot of skill needed and settings to be adjusted in order to gain the skills required.. but imo the game is far more technical than the COD games..

Give it a blast.. get on CSS and start to learn the ropes.
It quickly gets addictive mind.. prepare to loose hours.... It frightens me to think how much of my life has been put into the CS franchise!
 
1.5 and below was by far the best times. 1.6 while it refreshed the series just changed to much for me and source..well..yeah. =/

I did the survey, if I get a kill will certainly give it a go but doubt it will have the same 'magic and sparkle' that 1.5 had.
 
I didn't play the beta for a few months and tried it again the other night seeing as it's had quite a few updates but for a "cs game" it's still garbage they spent most of their effort changing the ui than fixing the gameplay
 
This looks good it might get a lot of ex-players like myself back into cs. Used to love the game and molotovs might help counter camping.
 
do people actually like this , imo it's the worst version of cs to date and hardly much has changed since I've been in the beta since last oct ignoring the maps,game mode

They've changed quite a lot in the coupel of weeks ive been on it, most recently they modified the movement quite majorly. Just look over the change logs.
 
Dieing for a beta key, just had a go at my mates, feels different but love it, been looking for a new game to start from scratch and make a clan and try for some sort of success with it.

Would love it if someone could sort me out with a beta invite <3
 
Im the same, really want a beta key as ive been waiting for a new CS since 2010!

Hopefully i get a key in the next batch, the game looks different, kinda like Left 4 dead hopefully doesnt play like left 4 dead though..
 
You can do the CS Blog survey and it puts you on there list for a beta key, I know plenty of people who have got them that way some within a week others longer though :(
