By the time anything of worth can be posted in these premature official threads it's 6 pages in so you just waste ages going through page upon page of "i'll download it here" "will this run on my rig?" "I'm getting 350kb/s WOOT" "OMG I'm now getting 450kb/s!!!" etc etc

I'm getting between 8-12FPS all settings on Very Hight and 4XAA

Going to try the lastest drivers now but so far not impressed at all, it runs worse than the beta. Could SLI GTX's sort this game out, would have thought i'd spent enough money on my rigg to play this game!

Set it to High, Very high settings are for the next gen cards.

Very high settings are for DX10 which is what a GTX is for!

O.k Ive had some time to see how much this game drops my system to its knees, heres my specs:

Q6600 @ 3.4
8800GTX @ 660/1000
4GB PC6400
Vista 64-bit

4XAA All high settings im getting Ave 24 Low of 20 High of 30FPS
4XAA All Very High settings im getting Ave 12 low 10 high 18FPS

How do these fair up with you guys with simular specs?

Have to say excellent game but with all the back dates and time taken 12FPS in very high with this hardware or 24FPS in just High is truely a disappointment, Bioshock has been optimised 3X better than Crysis

Can any tell me what "Post Processing" does?

As when I turn this down to medium I get about 5/8FPS Boost, all I can see is that it turns off the motion blur, anything else?

After hours of tweaking I think Ive found the best settings for my rig:

Q6600
8800GTX
4GB
All stock (overclocking CPU to 3.4 made no difference)

4XAA with all setting on very high, excluding Shadows-Medium and Shaders-High.

This gives me a super smooth AVE of 26FPS with lows of 20's and highs of 30's FPS.

Ive never seen a game run as smooth as this does @ 25FPS it feels double.

At times it will hit 20FPS in jungle fight scenes and still totally playable with very little mouse lagg.

Pure comedy when you run at some-one from the undergrowth with "Maxium Speed" enabled, excellent detail of fear on their faces rendering them useless for a few seconds letting you get a grasp on their throat!

If you put shaders on high , you don't get dx10 effects which defeats the point of having a gtx and playing crysis imho.

So your saying just turning down Shaders to high turns off all DX10 features?
