How do I know if im running in DX9 or DX10 vista64?
That was my understanding,
Infact someone posted that in this thread so correct me if i am wrong .
Also does anyone know how to enable AF in this game?
sid
so in vista its dx10 only then? no dx9?
would 64bit vista make a big difference with my system specs?
ty.
anyone else noticed a decrease in framerates with the beta nvidia drivers? mine have gone down about 5-10![]()
High = DX9
Very High = DX10
Pretty sure that's it, anyway. (Some are available in DX9 as well like god rays but can't be enabled without editing the config)
Im totally holding off judgement of the game (reg. performance) until the actual release
I do know what you means about the AI, it is pretty poor, put a silencer on and take cover and you can shoot them for ages and they cant work out where your shooting, i had one enermy sprint past me and run the entire length of the beach from one end (near the laptop) to the jammer, there are problems with the AI in this game but for me its not a complete deal breaker.
I found the environment immersive and the gameplay hugely enjoyable, but if you werent getting headshots you did notice the flaws in the AI.
Quick question, I thought ther was motion blur when you use the speed boost? I'm not getting any, infact is very hard to see any motion blur at all![]()
Q6600 @ 3.4, 4gb and an HD2900XT under Vista 64 selecting DX10 from shortcut.
Everything on High @ 1680x1050, plays beautifully, same with everything but shadows on Very High, same for the 64 bit .exe, no antialiasing as it doesn't need it.
How many people have played the modded demo level that been "snowed up"? It looks even better than the original, it's a whole different experience, just amazing tbh!
Well on a PC with a clean Vista 64bit install and the 169.04 Nvidia driver I get a whopping 10 - 15FPS !!
1920 x 1200
8800 GTX @ stock
Q6600 @ 3.0Ghz
4Gb RAM
In game settings Very High, NO AF.
What operating system?
