Official Crysis Demo thread

I do know what you means about the AI, it is pretty poor, put a silencer on and take cover and you can shoot them for ages and they cant work out where your shooting, i had one enermy sprint past me and run the entire length of the beach from one end (near the laptop) to the jammer, there are problems with the AI in this game but for me its not a complete deal breaker.

I found the environment immersive and the gameplay hugely enjoyable, but if you werent getting headshots you did notice the flaws in the AI.

I find it has its good points as well, I once took a pop at a guy and quickly cloaked afterwards and he was taking random shots at a bush far away from me where he though the shot had came from.
Also making them jump by running at them with Maxium Speed makes me chuckle every time, their reaction is great :D
 
Q6600 @ 3.4, 4gb and an HD2900XT under Vista 64 selecting DX10 from shortcut.

Everything on High @ 1680x1050, plays beautifully, same with everything but shadows on Very High, same for the 64 bit .exe, no antialiasing as it doesn't need it.

Doesnt need AA?? Dont tell me you havent noticed the massives gaggies on everything?
 
O.k Shaders very high or Post Processing very high, that is the question.

I can get 25.2fps with all on Very high excluding Shaders which is on High 4XAA

Or

22.5FPS with All on Very high except Postprocessing on High 4XAA.

I cant make my mind up which looks best, basicly better foilage slower FPS or sun and rays and faster FPS, which should I loose....your opions please?
