When it comes to doing the likes of Area 51, best to take a couple of higher level players just for that extra edge ;)

So glad I have hit 30 now. Can't wait to get stuck in to get my tier 1 iconic armour. Woot. I feel good now.

Oh, now this was funny: last night after I hit 30, I was roaming around Metropolis for a bit and noticed a thug trying to break into an ATM. I flew towards him and cos I have the super strength power, I was able to pick it up and smash it over his head. I definitely felt "super" after that :D

My character may look blue, but we can change the colours in game so we're not stuck with the same colours throughout the game. Besides, I'm waiting to get my tier 1 armour before I can do some serious colour on my character :D

In fact, I've collected so many costume styles, I'm going to change his outfit tonight. ;)
 
I like the fact that you can create how you want your hero to look and then lock it so that new armour doesnt change the looks, of course you can always tweak it later if you want but i like mine as it is for now.

No offense to this Yosiah chap, but I doubt many people will refuse to play a game because the vsync option isn't to their liking. Screen tear is such a minimal cosmetic problem that I personally don't ever really bother with vsync.

If it genuinely affects people's enjoyment of the game, I'd hate to see how they'd have coped 10-20 years ago.

You got a point there. I do think it would be extreme if people stopped playing a game for that reason alone. I've played games in the past where the graphics were not upto scratch. There were a number of reasons why, but in the end I stuck it out and kept playing. Now with my 4870X2, I have minimal problems :)

2gb almost left to download won't get to play til about 7 since my brothers got to download it on PS3 too, kinda gay was hoping the discs had the most recent version

well there goes my hopes of playing this, stuck at 199.1mb left been like this for an hour and 40 mins changed servers same thing.

Screen tearing on DC Universe is immense for me with Vsync off. Never before have I played a game without vsync where the tearing was SO prominent and distracting.

For some reason, with vsync enabled - I am getting a constant, never changing (constantly updated reading on fraps) frame rate of 30. Yet there are periods in the game when it suddenly slows down, yet the fps remains at 30.

What can cause apparent FPS drop without any fps change. If I run without Vsync, it never drops below 100, and averages 180.

Finally finished downloading some screens of my character, stuff will change as i picked up better looking stuff in beta as i quested, just finished starting story

Trying to get into this game made about 10 heroes/villans lol. Ive been trying to figure a lot of the game out but it doesnt half feel like a pain for pc gaming, can really tell its for console. Ive resorted to using my xbox360 controller which has really improved the game for me.

Im looking for an english league on the eu pve server but i cannot find one! they are all french or german which i do not speak a word of.
