So how is this game, Worth buying read some of the thread not all and need a decent MMO fix

Added can this also b played on the PS3 if so which version is better, could be quite cool playing a MMO on PS3.

I see comments about a one off payment how much is it, or what is the monthly fee>

£10 is expensive? I'll be getting the lifetime subscription in a couple of months I hope. Just £129.99 and I won't have to pay ever again

Beats paying monthly, quarterly, yearly. That way even if I go off it for a bit, I can always come back and not worry about reinstating my payments.

Yeah if I like it so will I.

No one said anything about playing it on the PS3 I have never played any game on my PS3 ... wondered if this might be worth it ..but then again ties up the TV

And yes think a tenner a month is getting expensive.

How many here got it on steam, thinking of getting it from another on line retailer, just do not like the fact that I have to have steam started to play a game.

Buy it through steam, then install it using the DC Universe Launcher. Someone linked it in this forum, but you could google for it.

Are there any decent looking Leagues (see clan/guild) being started? ..if not may cobble together one, have run several ( Immortals, AoC, War, SWG/
Rohan Riders LotRo).

Not having much luck I tell you!!

I called the helpdesk, its all in Italian! hahaha.

Grey, the file check, is it in the launcher? so I log in etc etc, then I see on the top left side options and top right side account? where is that file scan please?

So, this has now finished updating and what not.

I will be going with 'Fire' Powers, I know that much

. Does the 'Mentor' really matter? What does it grant? And movement? and I'm guessing weapon is just what I like?

Yeah in the option (or you can get to it by selecting server) when the drop down menu comes up you will see three buttons, one saying open, the other saying check and then game settings if I remember correctly. Hit the check button, takes about 20 minutes and see what it comes up with.

Going to stick it out with the EU server for the weekend see if the official 14th release for mainland europe gets any more players, if not move to a US server I think.

Quitting this game for now, simply because I cannot stand not being able to have 60 FPS vsync. Until they remove the 30 FPS cap from the in game vsync option - which they probably won't because it's been there all through beta - I cannot play.

Vsync off is too horribly teared for me to stomach, and vsync forced through d3doverrider causes sudden fps loss for the duration of primary attack animations.
ATI fail so much that their driver level vsync doesn't work in Windows 7, also.

Erm, dude, I don't know about you, but I haven't had any problems with the graphics in this game. I took the vsync off and my FPS is between 100-300 in some places. Also in the ATI CCC, I've made sure vsync isn't on either. I don't know how else to help, but I would say just re-install the drivers/update the drivers and just play about with the settings in the ATI CCC first. All of my games have really good FPS. Even Crysis lol. That gets roughly 30-50FPS with all settings on max. And I play at 1920x1200.

I don't want 100-300 fps. I want 60 Fps without tearing. I have no fps problems. I just don't want to settle with 30capped Vsync, or uncapped tearing.
