Mine has now unlocked & you also do not need the DVD in the drive to play it only for the install as the game uses SSA to allocate the serial number to your gamertag.
The Good:
1: Number of zombies onscreen at once is impressive some areas have thousands.
2: Lot of weapons & inventive ways to kill zombies.
3: Adult humour & themes.
4: Typical Japanese quirky characters.
5: Easy to pick up & play + you can just ignore the story missions & go on a zombie rampage then save your progress & restart the story missions with a stronger character.
6: A lot of gameplay hours are required to fully master. I reckon a good 60 plus. This is the game to last until Fallout NV!
7: Game needs playing several times until your character is strong enough to beat the game but you can save progress when you get killed so you start again with stronger stats.
8: RPG aspects are quite good as they make the game more interesting no quick save so you have to be careful & can die easily after making a lot of progress so use the 3 save slots wisely (there are plenty of places to save they just limit you to 3 to increase the tension/pressure on the player).
9: Drop in/out Co-Op means you can always get help from another player in the SP story mode.
10: Terror Is Reality 4 player deathmatch MP mode is funny & the carnage in places is insane

This MP mode also lets you earn cash which is then merged into your SP mode save game (you chose which slot to merge it with)
11: Sexy female characters who as always in Capcom games come with some interesting body shapes

12: Casinos & other locations contain a lot of gambling sub games to play & win money so you can then buy things ingame like stronger weapons.
13: Some adult shops & other locations are interesting just to browse.
14: Weapon/object combination is massive as is the number of ways to kill zombies.
15: Mouse + KB control scheme works ok !!
16: Loading times are 3-4 secs few delays at all.
17: DVD not required for online or offline play as it uses GFWL SSA to link the serial number to your gamertag.
18: No CPU/GPU from the last 3-4 years will have trouble running this as its very well coded.
19: For once the game box art shows you exactly whats possible in game!
20: Driving vehicles with custom weapons you have made then mowing down 1000's of zombies never gets old or tired
The Bad:
1: DX9 only graphic design is a little dated & bland in the shopping mall's. The casinos look good inside so do most of the shop locations you can visit.
2: Wireless 360 controller is not supported at all. Wired works fine but they have made the same mistake as Ubisoft did with Splinter Cell5 & Assassins Creed2 due to the controller ID for the wireless controller being different to the wired the Q+A was obviously done on wired controllers only. No way to enable it either they have to patch this ASAP as many PC gamers use wireless controllers nowadays.
3: No way to change ingame the controller or keyboard + mouse mappings. You have to edit a text file to do this manually as the default mappings are what they want you to use. I can understand in a way as the onscreen tutorials list the control to press but in 2010 you would think they could find an easier way to do this. You can change gamepad axis, gamepad vibration & mouse sensitivity though.
The Ugly:
1: Even though this is the best version of this game (console versions have massive loading times & PS3 has bad screen tearing) it feels a little rushed like they wanted to push this out for release date but the actual game files are dated 2-3 months ago so presume its been held back or in Q+A since then.
2: PC version is so sharp graphically it highlights the low res textures & other artwork which on the consoles looks fine due to lack of expectations & blur filters used.
Overall:
If you love killing zombies & love RPG's then this combines the 2 with some genuinely funny adult humour.
A lot of content & replayability is here the focus is more on gameplay & making the right decision with the story missions than being a technically strong game with state of the art gfx. I cannot help but think they should have tweaked this a little longer on PC but guess they wanted to make the same release window as the consoles (first time Capcom have done this before).
