*****Official Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution discussion thread*****

Welp. I ordered Deus ex HR through game.co.uk.

Opened it up to find this.

Anyone else had this? How does it even happen? Really ****ed off about it and game.co.uk has been changed to a all new badly designed website where the contact page/customer service pages are broken to hell.

That is ******* out of order. Was the game still sealed when you opened it? I'm thinking some cheeky warehouse monkey has had off with that code, if it the code is indeed on a sticker that is then stuck to that. Would have thought it would be printed on like most.

Really really sorry for you mate. :(

Time to go back online now woop!

I have missed my Steam friends conversations the last few days :p

Yup it was still sealed, really well as well, probably from the factory.

Mine seems to be constantly crashing :(

Code:
Faulting application name: dxhr.exe, version: 1.1.622.0, time stamp: 0x4e565b57

Think it's related to this:

"Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

Any ideas?

Sweeeeet, stuck on 65% also.

As per usual us paying customers are experiencing nothing but problems, whilst the pirates have probably completed the damn game already.

After really looking forward to this for a long time, i have gotten caught up in the original for the thousandth time, so probably will not even start it for a few days.

I'm gonna load it up now though, just to see everything's ok.

Defrag took about a minute for me

The one thats missing is the one for the actual game, I have the additional content code right here.

I've just purchased the Augmented Edition from the Game download service. Just waiting on my Steam CD key :)

Its cheaper on the Game site too when compared to Steam.

I just watched the tutorial videos. Very much looking forward to getting into this game now, i might start it tomorrow night depending on other commitments.

Some interesting options in the graphics menu as well, anyone got any experience with playing with the settings, what looks best?

(No replies to this thread for the rest of the night as everyone is playing it)

Underclock your card and see if it still happens.

I was getting that same error on BC2 and BF3 when I had a KFA2 560Ti and underclocking it sorted it out. Turned out the card was dodgy and I got a 570 as a replacement.

Not saying it IS what is wrong but underclocking it can't hurt :)
