How do I access the extra content (in game items) via Steam? I got the Augmented edition?

From what ive read im getting the impression you dont get everything it list as some of it was exclusive to retail versions?

So if im right which for you i hope am not or it makes it pointless im glad i went for the disk version

Then it was surely false advertising?

What utter bull.

Not really Steam included tf2 hats as thier bonus and GMG's was cheaper. You get the augmented edition content but not the bonus for buying from retail.
I don't think they ever stated you get the weapons or mission people just assumed they were getting the same as the retail version.

I went with the most difficult in the end and so far (about an hour or so played) it has been very reasonable. Sweet game :)

It's reasonable on hard (Give Me Deus Ex) so long as you sneak about and don't get shot with a spud gun, because then you just die horribly.

Anyone fancy doing a 'dead is dead' no kills playthrough?

Note to self: Chinese people get ****ED when you hack into their basement.

It's my VIP bar now!

can you still get all the weapons through normal play without the augmented edition?

My understanding is that they are reskins of existing weapons. Due to the fact that they are not available in the US or to those who bought digital versions. The only thing that doesn't exist in the game is the extra mission.

Iv only played this the first hour (so hardly into the first mission) but its pretty awesome! Just need to get a new pc as it runs like a dog on my old mac... :(

On the plus iv been inspired to find out how windows live games download works ot get ym dues ex goty version downloaded when it was 75p :D

If you get augmented retail you should have a sheet of paper inside with a code on. Put that into steam and it should gift you both packs. On the paper it only lists the contents of one pack.

If you got it in steam try right clicking and seeing what CD codes there are. Perhaps you have to enter in manually.

Only played an hour and a half so far but getting bored of copy n paste generic labs and warehouse sections, still getting a lot of disc/CPU lag and I'm playing it on a reasonable spec PC and tried playing from both mechanical RAID and SSD without any change in performance, the stuttering when it kicks in breaks the immersion.

Has potential but I wish they'd either gone for iron sights or cover system and not some half arsed hybrid of both thats just clumsy to play.

You need i7:D

The load times after the patch are MASSIVELY better, now under 10 seconds whereas before it was 30+ sometimes even a minute!
