*** Official Dota 2 Thread ***

Had 2 really good games last night (after pudgey's first game afk trick :p) won 2 close games. Myself, musty, mrbios, pudgey and whoever atlas is we had a good setup, good comms and won both.

I'll be on again Thursday evening if we want to try anddo it again.

Nice to play with people that talk during the game, as I'm used to a group that go dead silent the moment the game starts. Not only did that save me at one point but allowed us to turn a fight around and get some kills when the spirit breaker was charging on me bot and i hadn't spotted it!
 
I think communication is so key to my enjoyment in this game. That and playing with a stack of people you understand and know how each other play (strengths and weaknesses etc.) is great.

Really enjoyed last nights games. I know I am pretty shocking skill and game understanding wise but I am trying to get better ... :D

Didn't know you were in to this Bios. Bringing tocuk to dota.

Sounds like we've got 2 distinct groups playing so we'll have to join up at some point. Newts I saw your messages in the OcUK channel but we were just starting a 10 man friendly. Were those other guys we were playing against last night OcUKers Shami?

Btw I love good Enigma's we had a skywrath in my last game with Enigma. He would get most of there team in his ult Skywrath would Ult and I would follow with poofs haha.

I have never had a game which was not fun as meepo :p.

:D I pretty much get hooked on any game valve make lol (Granted they didn't technically create dota, but you know...) I'm still a damn slight better at cs and tf2 than i am at dota mind you haha

Only got a lowly 2400mmr and a hero pool consisting of less than 10 characters :p but i'll happily play with anyone so long as they don't hate me for being bad.

I don't see why anyone would or should hate on someone that is learning and trying to get better. It really annoys me when I see people bitch and all chat to report someone because they are having a bad game. I just end up reporting them for being a ****.
 
There's nothing wrong with someone who is bad an trying to improve. As long as they are making an effort and listening to advice rather than just raging it's fine :)
 
Really liking how strong Tide is in the offline especially with his buff to anchor smash.

Strongest on the dire due to the ability to stack the ancient camps if you are being harassed out of the lane. couple points in kraken shield + anchor smash and you can easily do huge stacks of ancients.

I've been finding depends on the game, I have only been playing tide or faceless offlane recently and having great results with both.
 
I tend to play meepo offlane/mid mostly.
