Official E3 2016 thread.

Well the Battlefield 1 press conference was interestring.

Shame there wasn't anything about a new Skate, come on EA :(

Short teasers for promising Star Wars stuff and Andromeda but no real info.

Wow... EA already started off this E3 with a disappointing conference. The only new reveal was that Fe game. As usual they spent even more time on sports and they showed off pretty much no gameplay of games from what I can tell, except maybe Fe. No real info on games either... wow. The funny thing is they have Battlefield 1 footage, but that's not even part of the conference. And some random celebs nobody cares about is supposed to help how? Way to go EA, they might actually beat Nintendo's recent showings for worst E3 press conference, funny cos Nintendo isn't even bothering this year. I might go to sleep and try watching Bethesda at 2am... but I'll probably just catch up tomorrow morning.

Cynicism ftw

Just got through the EA presser and man that was ****

Thanks for all the gameplay though EA

Most enthusiasm I had for FIFA 17 has died, really hope Bioware make a decent RPG (ME:As bit just felt like theres just loads of potential but zero details shared) and EA Star Wars games means nothing for me to play til 2018 :( (not gonna waste my time on Battlefront)

EDIT: Damn forgot about TF2, Im looking forward to that a lot - hopefully engine is sorted

Now that was more like it. Bethesda is my favourite one so far, much like last year's E3. That large Dishonoured segment with tons of gameplay made it for me. I don't like the way he implied that the Collector's Edition will have shortages of stock though...

Quake was okay, not my jam. But I do like how it sounds to be very well optimised, no wonder it's PC only. I wonder how well it'll run on an RX 480? I was expecting a rocket jump in that trailer though, so that was a tad disappointing. It sounds kinda Overwatch-like with different 'heroes'. I wonder what Quake fans think of that? Do they like it or hate it?

I was suprised at how vocal those few ESO fans were... I think it's just one person being very loud lol. I also didn't know it sold well on consoles... is it cos they don't get MMOs on consoles or something?

Prey looks to be my favourite of the new reveals, much like Dishonoured 2 last year. I bet next year it'll be the equivalent of Dishnoured 2 this year, with a 2017 release date and a ton of gameplay shown.

Skyrim Remastered is pointless IMO, we've all played it to death already and they already had the Legendary Edition. I did hear somewhere that people who already have the Legendary Edition will get the Remaster for free though (at least on PC/Steam). If it looks better than vanila Skyrim... I might give it a go.

Some DLC for Fallout... still no 'Legendary Edition' ala Skyrim... but it's too early for something like that.

Of course, I am very excited for Dishonoured 2, the best bit of the E3 so far for me. I loved playing the first game and played it multiple times, there could be even more replayability if Corvo and Emily play different, with some abilities unique to each character.

I watched the whole thing on Youtube, since the actual live show was at 3am, not 2am GMT. Why on earth do they have the wrong times all over the place? It's summer so it's an hour later. Unfortunately I'm working today, and won't be able to watch the other ones live. I have the day off tomorrow, so I'll be watching them all. I might be able to catch Sony at 2am tonight if I can wake up. Also, why doe the E3 countdown have Nintendo on there? I thought they didn't have anything to show at E3?
