I actually can't find any figures around the amount of pre-orders each has received at this stage, where are you getting the smaller player base from?
Unless you're referring to beta sign-up figures, which pretty much mean nothing :)

Smaller reddit community size, less active, smaller amount of posters in this forum, not really in the news and so on.

It's my opinion, since we are devoid of facts, I'm sure when we do get numbers someone will be happy pointing this out.

Ok so we have numbers!

http://www.vgchartz.com/preorders//

According to them there are 154,772 pre orders for PC and 105k for Xbone and PS4 in North America total. The above numbers are the brick and mortar retailers selling the physical pre-orders. None of the digital copies are included, nothing from anywhere other than the NA locations of stores like BestBuy, etc... This excludes Europe, Aussies and the east. and only represents the big software houses and not the internal selling from the company itself, so the number it probably 8 times larger than that, at least..

Yes. We want to ensure that players can reap the benefits of investing more time in The Elder Scrolls Online. Because of this, we offer discounted rates for choosing 90- and 180-day subscription plans.

We also offer players the option to choose between recurring subscriptions and one-time payments, as well as the ability to pay using a variety of payment methods. The following discounts apply to multi-month payment options:

£8.99 for 30 days at once
£7.99 for 90 days at once
£6.99 for 180 days at once

Is it possible to track our buffs / debuffs (all of them) and those on our group ?

You can track any long term effect on yourself. things under 30 seconds (in general) do not appear to trigger effect changed events. I don't believe you can track your party.

Hi there Pawkette, love your add-ons.

I just have one question:

How much of the combat information are you now able to access with the API? Is it still possible to make a competent combat person for your own testing purposes?

I just took this.

Hopefully it shows people that a ton of information is still available

What about incoming skills/damage?

That information is no longer available, simply how much and weather it is a heal or damage.

So I can tell I got healed for 50, and I got damaged for 28.

Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions this has been a super interesting read.

Are the numerical values for enemy health no longer available (as you would see using FTC)? I'm guessing not?

Are your own stats available for display outside the character sheet?

Numerical displays are no longer available for enemy health.

I'm not sure about character stats, I'll have a look in a few minutes and let you know.

To those that have pre-ordered this, what version are you getting and why?

Is the Digital Imperial Edition worth the extra money? I'm not fussed about cosmetic stuff but if there's gameplay improvements or extra content/gear then I want to make sure I have access to everything.

The only real thing you'll miss out on is playing as Imperials and getting the Imperial White Horse.

You can get the Imperial Edition from Nuuvem for less then the cost of the standard edition in the UK.

Hmmm just googled Nuuvem and all I could find was some Brazilian site. It didn't seem to let me buy anything because of my region(UK), is there an English version of the site?

I've posted this a few times within this thread:

You can buy the Imperial Edition from http://www.nuuvem.com.br/produto/168...perial-edition

For £40!!! Which is cheaper then the standard edition from the UK

Just install Hola! for your browser and when you browse the site, set the proxy to Brazil and bingo.

Works pefect, people have redeemed their keys and got there access.

Not sure how long the servers are going to be up for , they just say its up temporarily for them to test their overflow server. Had a 4 or 5 gb patch to download too. I'm guessing it wont be up for long, maybe a few hours.

The patch your downloading is converting the client to Retail, if you noticed on the left, the name changed from Elder Scrolls Online Beta to just Elder Scrolls Online.

Might be of use to some of you.

Lead gameplay designer Nick Konkle explains. "I think a lot of the previous generations of MMOs a lot of the game is looking at that UI and playing it. Technical restrictions were such that we couldn't have that sort of fully immersive battle experience because people weren't where they were, where you would see them, they were somewhere else.

"But we wanted to create an immersive experience because that's the modern game, that's the modern RPG," he says. "One in which I look at the world, not at my hotbar. Not at numbers that are flying up."

The game has plenty of ques and indications of what is going on if you pay attention.

People who are crying about the api change are the people who think they are entitled to what ever they demand. The game is a failure because of something I want in the game not being there.

You are entitled to nothing. You don't ask an artist to change the painting after you bought it.

Help guide development by providing feedback, not by demanding entitlement.

So Builds... im looking at an Imperial 2h user with Stealth as primary, 2nd weapon im thinking possibly bow, Dragonknight as class and wearing medium armour primarily, some of the available skills look pretty tastey, 2h SB Kinda build lol :)

Nightblades are the class if your after stealth. But post your build so we can take a look.

Not....sure...if...troll....

Here's what Matt Firor wrote about the overflow server recently:

And just to be fully prepared, we are adding overflow servers in the event we get even more players on day one than we are now forecasting. If player demand overwhelms our planned capacity and a queue has to be formed, we will offer waiting players the option to begin playing right away on an overflow server. The overflow server is meant to be a temporary place where you can begin your adventure as you normally would – gain experience, items, achievements, etc. The character you create and everything gained as you temporarily play on an overflow server will transfer back with you when you log in the next time on the main megaserver. While you’ll still be able to group on the overflow servers, other social features like PvP or access to your friends list and guild will be unavailable during that play session - but we want to offer this option to allow players to get into the game quickly, create a character and start to enjoy ESO without delay. This way, you can log in and play, and when the queue shrinks, you can switch to the megaserver and continue to play with the character you created.
