Yes! Finally. Almost a mercyless beater but not quite. I'm now using the same setup as you mercyless which I can tell is andrew bortz's setup from RD, with 1/1 wings, and 11 rollbars and springs.

Same setup, never claimed it was mine. This track with the Mac is always gonna be 1/1, naturally we all look for a better set up with the other adjustments.
 
Of course mercyless, I always use other people's setups. I was just saying I recognised it as his from the details you gave and I thought yeh, I'll give that a try too. I was using grisfiske's before but I find andrew bortz is definitely more stable and the gearing is preferable. :)

Heh thanks, I'm done though, you're safe. :D I could stay on your ghost's tail for a while but never managed to overtake you I don't think, or maybe once or twice briefly. So I started racing the ghost right below yours (a 1:33.561 or something) which I was able to keep ahead of till sector 3 but I didn't quite manage to stay ahead. Given another day I could probably beat it but I'm knackered now, been doing it all day.
 
Another fantastic time inam22. If you would so kindly do the honours and choose our new car, track and weather condition. :)
 
well done with the times guys, i just couldnt seem to get any faster with mine so i sort of gave up in the end. hopefully a decent track and car for this weeks challenge :p

Wee bit better. It seems to be the penultimate corner is where I'm losing a lot of time because I simply can't attack it like the others.
 
Same here sparc. I only managed 1:32.4xx so far. I haven't figured out how to take that turning 14 with any sort of speed yet. Also I lose some time at turn 11.
 
Yeah took me a bit of practice to get turn 11 into my head. I now know that just before I hit the limiter in 4th gear I back off and turn ... It works most of the time :p.

I think I started doing something like that. 4th gear, then coast around without braking?
