Welcome to the all new F1 2010 Time Trials thread. We will be following the 2010 calendar throughout the season with a random track in place for India. Car choices will be based on the constructors standings as of the end of 2010. After the 12 cars have been run the winner of the remaining tracks will be free to choose which ever car they like for the following weeks TT.

This is not a serious contest and is purely for the purpose of having fun. Please do not feel shy about joining in.
Questions, hints, tips and suggestions about setups are greatly welcomed.

Rules

Please post times in the following format with a link to your screenshot below:

TIME - VIEW - CONTROLLER - ASSISTS

eg. 1:27.235 - T-Cam - Xbox - No Assists

*Times not posted in the correct format or without a screenshot will be ignored.
*Do not edit posted times with new times. Make a new post for improved times.
*If a remarkable time is posted you may be asked to produce evidence to ensure fair play.
*Videos of laps are also welcomed and can be linked in the thread.
*Custom setups are allowed.
*Tracks will be changed at the end of each weekend, Usually on a Sunday night around 9pm.

I don't really know either, however I have noticed that I like the rear springs to be quite hard for traction and oversteer with the front springs just a few off 11, around 8-9 for the front springs. Lowest amount of wing possible, especially the back wing as this slows the car down dramatically. I don't often touch the gearbox, unless I'm red lining 7th before I get the end of a straight. After that I just do many many laps, slowly adjusting camber/toe/balance until I set a time I like

But this isn't about being competitive anyway, it's just for a laugh.

Is it at all possible to take turn 8 full throttle ? I always need to just lift ever so slightly, enough to hold a constant speed halfway through, before accelerating through the exit.

Yup, those are the ones. I think my problem was just a lack of front down force. With that latest time I think I'm finally on to the right setup.

Aye, wasn't too shabby. Although I think my xbox controller has just died, hmmm.

It's the wired one and the lights have gone out and won't come back on. Also lost it in game

Hopefully it's not my USB controller on the motherboard.

Edit: Deffinetly the xbox pad. Plugged it into the laptop and the same thing happened, light ring flashes twice then nothing. Doesn't show up in control panel either. Bugger.
