Damn you Sparc.

:), could you change your post so that it looks like the others, thanks.

my first go at this weeks track, seems a easyish layout to get to grips with so should be some decent times posted.

Hmm, not posting evidence for this one as its a crap time anyway, but can only manage a 1:41 something so far. Tcam, Xbox wheel, Full T/C, ABS, corners.

Wonder if my time would be much different with the pad instead. May give that a go.

This game does frustrate me and my arms are aching now after playing for the last 3 hours.

Not sure if I should edit my post or just doublepost in case you miss an edit. Just an update:

At first I assumed a high downforce setup would be best for this track but I am actually finding a low downforce setup is faster round here.

I'll have another go later, I could probably trim 0.4 seconds off that time with more practice.

Don't update any posts with new times, just create a new one :)

You will find that every track is pretty much a 2/1 or 1/1 on the wings, even in the wet. Montreal being the best example with the fastest time in the wet was set with 1/1 on the wings :D

Edit: You could also make up more time if you can learn to use manual gear changes.

Yeah, on day 1 when I bought the game new I said to myself "manual only!" but I found it hard to change gears at the same time as driving and I never bothered to learn to do it manually!

I might have a go later, how much of a difference can it usually make to a typical lap? I'm presuming it's a big enough difference which is why you mentioned it.

Yes indeed, true for most, but not all. Tried 1/1 on kuala lumpur, then went to to 8/1 wings and got my best time with the sauber, and just got 1:28.922 with McLaren, also kuala lumpur. Same when we did silverstone, I was on 6/1 or 8/1 wings, can't remember.

Managed to find another half second or so.
